Got a NGE picture of the Coro-lag cantina with 2 full groups of 20 ents with other ents asking for invites plus the patrons? Or got pictures of Theed, Mos E, Bestine, and Coro-lag cantinas all with the same date/time stamp showing ents and patrons at all of them?

But none of this compared to the eventual massive upheaval of the NGE and how it truly ruined the game. I'd played the game hard for 7 or 8 months, and had made a lot of friends and contacts; had even managed to found a successful guild and make a good dent in the Galactic Civil War. It was strange to find myself feeling this way about a mere game, but was very sad, indeed, saying goodbye to the galaxy and all the people I'd come to know. The days leading up to NGE were like one long, endless funeral. I remember some noobs saying how sad it was for them to see all us "Elders" doling out our exotic valuables to them, in preparation for leaving the game. Sadder still was the isolated, impersonal feel the new interface cast on the experience. I tried to play the NGE with an open mind for about two days, and then cancelled my account. For those who think the populous cantina screenshots posted in this thread are exceptional, I can vouch that they represent fairly tame nights relative to nights I spent in cantinas in Theed and Coronet, in the good old days of the CU.

Friendly advice...don't post anywhere ever again if you cannot take the response you got here. The only forums I can imagine you don't get flamed on is a Cancer Survivor forum or something like that. You need thicker skin. People post here to force their opinions on the weak minded.
I can understand your point if it makes you feel better. On your server, Mos Eisley cantina had probably gotten down to 2 entertainers and then you saw 7 or 8. I too noticed a small uptick in server activity before I left the game. But don't worry, SOE is hard at work making sure they won't stay.
What gets me is when people who are arguing in favor of NGE claim "many, many" people are coming back, making it sound as if the numbers are getting close to what they once were. There have been those that returned but what percentage of those that left and how long are they staying around. Even had 1 person on the SOE SWG forums claim that those who returned were enjoying it "immensely." I was one of those players that returned...twice in fact since NGE...and I was not enjoying it "immensely," I was mainly hanging around to chat with guildmembers and hope SOE came to their senses enough to offer classic/pre-cu servers. Being as there is not a consistant number of guildies on when I log in (anywhere between 0-5 others with an occassional spike above that), the things that they are bringing back are crappy versions of what we once had, I've given up on waiting around for them to implement classic servers, and I have no desire to pay them while they slowly bring this game back to a shadow of what it once was, I've cancelled for the 3rd time (had already cancelled 2 accounts for the 3rd time and just cancelled my original account for the 3rd time a couple of days ago).
Which brings me to raymer's claims about the people who post here:
1. I stopped being "underage" years ago
2. I'm currently playing the game until Sept. 5th when the account expires
Kinda shoots down the whole underaged people who haven't played the game in over a year and have no clue what's currently happening theory doesn't it?
I recently tried my second 10-day veteran trial offer (I had 4 accounts) and it still doesn't appear any better. I played since launch up to the NGE launch and the game has never been in worse shape.
I don't see myself paying for this game's monthly fee. Not only is the community shot to hell (FPS gamers... nothing worse than them, save Warcrap's children), but it's all the grind of pre-NGE with none of the reward for crafters, and it's free-loot day for bounty hunters and jedi while all the other classes are next to meaningless.
I'm sorry, but SWG pre-New Galaxies Enhancements and SWG now are two entirely different games... if you play this game as it is and pretend to enjoy it, you must be seriously lacking in the cranial cavity.

Bria was always on the edge of blowing up half the time though, we had to many people.. we really did. Crashes due to population pissed us off more then anything.
Good times though, we really did know how to push the game. When the cantina at the Dath outpost is so full you lag out then odds are you have a busy server. -- Not speaking now of course...lol.
Too bad though, we did have fun though-- I think all can agree to that, well except Pirrg he failed at that version of the game lol.

And yet, 99% of the time I played on Bria with a fat huge smile on my face.
When an officer of <ST> got gunned down in Bestine by invading rebels, and the 50+ imperials hanging around just laughed, 20 troopers/recruits followed him back to Bestin. Kicking most of the rebels flat on their back, but eventually we were decimated by the uberbuffed 90% composite defense stackers (not that our "canon" stormtrooper weapons worked well against composite, nor that our 30%/vulnerable armors worked much either). And while fighting our way out of the city, we were being rediculed and called "pussies" and worse, by the 50+ imperial onlookers...Most from Gregorys Imperial Coalition of leetbois....
Those were the days.
Altho, the harrassment of RP'ers were rather harsh on Bria, especially on RP'ers that were visible, like <ST>. A period, I were the recruiting officer, and I musta recruited over 200 troopers in the course of 4 months. Less than 20 of those stayed more than 1 month, and their "good bye post" on forums were always "asshats of Bria doing their best to ruin our fun".
Yet, I would do it all over again.
Well, xept that recruitment officer part. Those 4 months was the hardest months ever in SWG. Out of 4 recruitment officers, I was the only one left who had not resigned or taken a holiday...I think we averaged 5+ hours ingame and forums just paperwork and processing of recruits...And thats before we helped them train and more.

I used to love those of Gregorys goons that thought because they were "leet", could boss <ST> troopers around (Before the coalitions tactics became more a "win by making the enemy want to leave the game" and <ST> leaving the coalition).
Sometimes, we were real nice about it, and informed them that to give orders to stormtroopers, they needed to be in uniform and have a signed order from Stormtrooper HQ(yes, thats how it is in the SW universe and lore. ST's is a elite branch that only allows non branched officers command if they got permits and orders from HQ).
Ofcourse, some of them came back wearing the standard grays, and then tried to push us around. And we were being polite again and went: "Hmm, citizen, that uniform lacks the proper rank boards and it looks like it comes from a flea market. are you sure you're not trying to impersonate a Imperial Officer?"
One of the goons (well, he was one of the few chaps in the coalition that gained my respect, cuz he didn't treat us as outcasts, and actually tried to invite us on the various coalition "events") went as far as dressing a squad of his PA up in uniforms, dragging them with him to our fort, just to prove that he was in fact a Imperial officer.
Fun times. So many people got so very upset when they couldn't order us around..
But the best times?
When after we did a patrol or a cantina inspection or whatever we did for giggles that day (including chasing nooblet rebels and incapping them, then letting them walk off with a warning), we got tells and mails, telling us how cool and "real" it had been with stormtroopers doing their job. We gained a few recruits that way. Veteran players that deleted their toons and came to us. And yes Isk, some of the PvP'er leet'ers of Bria did exactly that

Well, here are some of mine without even trying to find good ones:
Just your average hunting group with the Guild. Started off being just 7 of us, but grew over the next hour and we pick up a few straglers along the way. 3 hours later we were still going strong!
This was just a spur of the moment Base Raid. In 15 miniutes I have 3 groups of 10+ players ready to take down this base! We spend about 3 hours attacking it!
Taking a rest in the medical center when all WAR broke out. Use to happen all the time!

Ooooh, notice how customizable that "ancient, console and shiny" UI is!
3 bars of specials, spaced where he found it most convenient to have them!
Chat moved to where he felt it best when it came to being best to read and best for overall seeing the game!
Radar placed and sized to the size he's comfortable with!
Oh boy, I must say that the T-Ford of UI's really are crap compared to todays "Rolls Roys" of UI's that the SWG NGE has. Who needs to be able to make his UI to his liking anyway when you can have it a nice "silvery crappy" color and lots of colorfull icons and a radar that's rather unreadable?
Another look at an outdated UI with the ability to be customized to the player's desire. This is an "initiation" for people applying to guild after the guild's weekly Monday night meeting.
in a post WoW world, Smedley and WArd were nmot smart enough to make it a "viable business". With the NGE subscriptions below pre-CU levels, it is hard to understand how the NGE is a success with the stated goals.

Not the SWG NGE players thats for sure!

Another look at an outdated UI with the ability to be customized to the player's desire. This is an "initiation" for people applying to guild after the guild's weekly Monday night meeting.
I signed up just to post these Pre-Cu screens.
I've lurked here for sometime hoping beyond hope I would someday read about a miracle and that the NGE Was just a bad dream.
I'm sorry, but those NGE cantina shots are but a shadow of what the game once was.
