can't claim my beta key! what's going on?

in Lord of the Rings Online

I just won one of the 200 beta keys, and I am not being allowed to claim it. I get a message "10 people have already claimed that ticket" or some such, and on the list of winners it shows the first 10 people as confirmed, and the other 190 as pending. What's going on? Is there some error where only 10 people are being allowed to access their keys and the rest of us are being shut out?

    Same with me, it says 10 people have already claimed it so i cant....what's going on?????

    It's obviously an error.
    I already sent an Email to MMORPG.COM Support. Hopefully they'll have it fixed.

    I don't recall that only 10 out of the 200 would win. I thought at first it was me then re-read the rules and still didn't see it so, I went ahead and emailed MMORPG.com.

    Hopefully this won't screw anyone out of their slot.

    I hope not i also got one of the 200 tickets and it would be really cruel if only ten actually got in.

    Please MMORPG fix this or tell us what is going on.

    well at leat we know it's not a fault on our end. i'm checking back every hour hoping for a fix!

    This is cruel. I finally win something worth wild and i can't claim it. Well here is to the next 24 hours of trying to claim it until they tell me i can't or let me claim it.

    btw, what's the mmorpg.com support e-mail? i'd like to send them one too, just in the wild hope that the more people that send them e-mails the highest the chance is this will be fixed. been reading the books since i was a child; i don't want to miss this chance!

    If this situation isn't fix by 9pm tomorrow they better not reroll for the remaining 190.
    I was very surprised that I actually got into this, I am excited about beta testing this game.

    Click on contact us at the bottom of the page. I just sent them an e-mail also about this. Band to gether brothers and sisters flood them with e-mails so they will fix this asp.

    thanks for email, i sent them one. the more that send the better! let's just really really hope that whoever is in charge of this checks his e-mail soon...

    Same here, I was confused when I got the 10 people error message, kind of made me upset but I am glad I am not the only one who is confused here.

    Even the forums are acting funny for me.  I was clicking on the first couple threads in this forum and I was getting directed to the game list page.

    Hope the 190 remaining winners get a chance to confirm soon!

    Maybe it is a case were we were all clicking on the link and overloaded there server. To many of us trying to claim at the same time. God i hope this gets fixed soon.

    yesss it worked for me!!! maybe it was just a server overload. go get yer keys! we should all form a fellowship, united out of this fearsome ordeal we have survived! see you guys in beta (i guess in a few weeks when it starts?)

    edit: so will we be recieving these keys in our email shortly, or how will this work?

    I think they will send the keys and where to get the download to us in a few days or so.

    I was wondering that too. Then i thought they probably will wait until all 200 are claimed and beta is up and running. Unless this gets us into alpha 3. Now i can't wait for that e-mail. LOL

    Yes thanks MMORPG for fixing this so quickly and saving me from pulling out all of my hair, or what is left of it, while i freaked out cause i couldn't claim the beta key.

    I got my key. Did you take the conformation code from your email and put it in the key conformation thing.  Also mabye try doing it from mmorpg.com in your mailbox here, because that might help.

    Yes i entered the ticket number were it said to and it went to a screen congratulating me and on the list of winners i am confirmed. But i have not gotten my beta key yet. That is weird you got yours so fast i claimed mine way before you claimed yours.

    Accually right now my mmorpg.com is way screwed up everything is all white and I can barley see anything and I have only confirmed it, not accually gotten the ticket but ill see if I prove the people wrong about lotrs being a flop fest or if they are right, but ive never won anything weird how I win this, see you guys in the game. Im always kylecameron1    in all games, its an easy name to come up with so I spend less time making my character and more time playing.
