in Guild Wars
well i just quit runescape after 3 years of playing it and i been looking around and guild wars seems like the best choice the only 2 aspects of the game that have brought me to this counclusion are

no monthly fee's
the graphics

but i want u guys to tell me for a player like me who likes 0wn1ng(lol) well is guild wars just another sissy ass l2 copy or wuts up...

can u do 1v1 pvp in guild wars like in runescape?

hook me up with some info on this game

    Well i dont have GW but i plan on getting it soon myself, and from what i have read its really all about PvP. I played the old runescape for like 2 years so i know what its about and you will probally like GW.

    its a good game. Things you need to know. Aside from the cities everything is instanced. The only way to win in PvP is to ahve Green Armor. Tons of quests thats good. GvG is awesome. Level cap is only 20 which makes pvping much more sweetter cuz mostly everybody is equal yeah its a good game but i didn't like it

    I'm going to asume you meant "great" armor, because there's no such thing as "green" armor. Which wouldn't be true anyway because the PvP in this game is ENTIRELY based on player skill. Actually, the game as a whole is based on player skill.

    I'd say that the game is well worth the initial price. Prophecies is nice and long in the PvE department and the PvP is quite limitless if you can do some GvG at some point. Then, all the extra chapters can be added on as you like giving you even more stuff to do/explore. The only thing I've seen that may bug you is that the early on enemies can still do a number on you if you're not prepared. Enemies will remain dangerous regardless of character level.

    Also, there is 1vs1 PvP as an option, but you'll need to do it from a Guild Hall. All you need to do is set up a scrimage GvG with the person you want to fight being the only other person to accept. You "win" by killing the other player, because a single player likely couldn't kill the Guild Lord (the way you win a GvG match). Nothing like a /duel but it does work so long as everyone is honest.

    GW is a loaded action game. You have never seen the speed and flexibility in any other game except maby Diablo II.

    Give GW a try, it might be totally different from Runescape but well worth a shot.
