Simply wondering how old the players are. At 46 I always felt I was playing with kids. My corp in Eve however was 30+
And my guild in EQ was the average age of 27.

Well, I'm a very young gamer, I'm 13, and have already won some cash with playin Tactical Ops, at a Lan Party. However I'm more intersted in MMORPGs now, but I don't want to pay for it, I'm too young for a job.
I hope I'm still gameing when I'm 46, I think nothing is wrong with that, however most of your age are playing games like The Sims, 'cause there is (almost) no violence in that kinda' games. But I think you are great, you show that we must keep on gaming!
Are you smoking the wacky herb again? Where are you getting this information. I know a lot of "older" people who still kick ass in FPS.
I'm 26 and can still run circles around people in any FPS. I just don't like those types of games any longer. I'd rather play a good RTS, MMORPG, or another type of game where I have to think and not just blast my way through the levels.
Also pretty much, once a gamer, always a gamer. I've been playing games since 1983.

I'm 26 and can still run circles around people in any FPS. I just don't like those types of games any longer. I'd rather play a good RTS, MMORPG, or another type of game where I have to think and not just blast my way through the levels.

From a Dutch gaming magazine, well, maybe it's only in Holland then. But what do you think is old? I think like 40+ is quite old in the gamers world. But if you know a very good FPS or Fighting Game 40+ player, then please say it.

Please say what? Their name? I was in an "adult" clan playing Battlefield 2. We had some 30+ year olds. Just because you're older doesn't mean you can't play "twitch" style games.

Ok then, whatever, you've won this batlle. Now something else. On a docu about the WCG, they followed GO (Greatest Ones), a Korean StarCraft clan, one of the best SC clans on the planet. They were saying that most pro-gamers reflexes are getting slower when they reach 25. So they are getting slower in the game, so do you know some 30+ pro-gamers?
(I don't know if they're right anyway, if you train alot on your reflexes, you can still be good at shooters and stuff...)
I don't know any pro-gamers over 30. Most people over the age of 21 have full time jobs and a life, wife, kids, car, house, etc.
That is why most pro-gamers are around the 18 years old age... where they don't have anything but a part-time job and usually school.
Once people start to grow up, things change. I wouldn't doubt in my mind for single second that there could possibly be someone over 30 as a pro-gamer.
im a teenager but i hope that i never loose the incentive to play a game here or there. I hope that gaming doesnt affect my health or education hence resulting in my career as well all know without no cash theres no games regardless of were you get it.
