Interesting eh?)... You shouldn't be whining, you shouldn't be fighting it. They have legitimate concerns anyway - though yes, it is probably just a guise for making you look smarter... But christ, where's the problem?! Just dress as they ask, but push the boundaries a bit each day to let them know who's pulling the strings, and the second you're out of school, get your baggy jeans and untucked shirts back on... What exactly were you planning on doing when you left school and got a job? Taking your restaurant manager to court because he wanted you to wear a bow-tie?! Taking the boss of your office to court for making you wear a smart-casual suit?! Either do what they say or just cry more in a corner, somewhere dark where I don't have to hear about it ^^

Oh and btw, Columbine had a very low history of violence, and no reports of knife/gun crime within its gates. NYC hadn't been bombed before 9/11. Precedent has no case here, it's completely imaterial, as this is about closing routes for such activity to happen in the first place. Have some sense.

So having a dress code is supposed to stop some degenerate kid from carrying a hand gun up to the entrance and blowing away a security guard and contunuing on through the school? that is even if they have  a security guard or metal detectors. In which case if they dont....they go straight to class and cap a teacher or whoever they want. Or...do it in the parking lot before class starts for the day. Rules wont stop trash from doing what they want.

It isnt to keep guns out of school, there have been like what, 2 school shootings since columbine?  And in columbine only 13 were killed.  Everything is always blown out of perportion...

Correct me if im wrong but, it is still possible to get guns into school with our shirts tucked in. Rofl actually it would be much easier, just hold the gun in you shirt where its tucked in. To me they are just making this new dress code because teachers dont like how kids dress...thats the only reason, not because of safety, thats the last thing on my teachers minds.

I think it is a wonderful idea.  It is done in most countries and thier schools are way better then the United States', maybe there is something to it.  Who knows, next they might make you take tests to place into High Schools to help specialize people sooner.  I would love if they did that while I was going through school.  Also they might make school start at 10AM, and make you do physical excerscise to excite the mind before learning.  Another great idea which makes people learn better.

You will also look better while attending school because Baggy cloths aren't flattering to a person's image.  Like girls who wear baggy clothing, you can't see the most important parts.  I am a concept artist, and the people I draw (look at reference pictures) in baggy clothes always seem fatter or look like Drapery, and are less noticable then people in well-cut clothing.
