I won too #30 Well, the competition was for a beta account, so I suppose that is what we will be getting, a beta account. How we get it, be it with VIP keys, beta keys and whatnot, I don't know. Anyway, looking forward to beta-test it!
There are still 69 unclaimed spots out of the 200. And they only have a little over 7 hours left to claim them before they loose there spot. If they do loose them there will be some very dissapionted people.

2. The list of winners for the site contest wasn't public.
Now, if after he actually gets in and signs NDA, etc. comes and posts about the game, that would be breaking NDA. Or, if someone who got in, but shouldn't be saying they are in, came and posted such, would be breaking NDA. This is of course assuming NDA states that you cannot say you are in beta. Most do, but not all of them.

For the Archlord beta contest, two people didnt' claim the grand prize. I was hoping (since I was third) and first and second never claimed that I'd get bumped up, but alas, it didn't work that way. But the second person never claimed it, the third one finally did... So you KNOW those two are mad.
Bloody hell, I won!!!! This is a game i have waiting for a long time. Its gonna be great testing this one. Looking forward to see the other winners ingame

I'm guessing we won't be in beta for awhile still. My GF won a contest for LOTRO a couple months ago for beta also, and she's yet to get in. When you win these contests, they usually give you a "VIP Code" which you then put into your beta application that you filled out on Turbines site. Then, from there, they put you into beta whenever they feel like putting in the winners.

Another pointless thread. There's about 20 of these already, and I've said the same thing in everyone.
Hasn't anyone noticed that most the people are from 2004 and 2005. Seems real random to me.
Chances are that these are VIP codes and not entrance into Beta. So far all contests have been these codes.
The vip codes go into your beta application and garantee you a spot in beta...
I hope it is an actual key...but I doupt it.
Here is hoping though.
