I just got banned for trolling

in Star Wars Galaxies
Gosh, I wasnt trolling I just told them they are a bunch of brainless idiots.... not in that way of course.

As i said before, I just resubbed and cancled. The game rots so bad.
targeting is funked up, shooting through walls and mountians is worse than i remember pre CU, ... its all just pathetic.. i decided not to make a huge list of problems with this game... bah... im throwing in the towle for good.

I think I will delete my charactors permantly so im not tempted to ever re-sub again.

    LoL, I can care less what names you call me. I've been coming to these forums for over a year now. I come here when I need a break from whatever and want to check up on the latest news with MMORPG's in general. Even when I like a game, I don't spend all my time in it. I need breaks and forum reading is one of the things I do when I am breaking.

I come here when I need a break from whatever and want to check up on the latest news with MMORPG's in general. Even when I like a game, I don't spend all my time in it.     I am part of that community, please don't insult us all because one of us upsets you.

    Anyway I fail to see what is immature about reporting to this community an experience from another.  A lot of people agree that the moderators on the official SWG forums are a bit heavy handed.  Was the OP bragging? maybe, or maybe just a bit annoyed and came here to vent.

    It is the OP's fault for breaking the forums rules of course, but those rules are very restrictive, or so I have heard.(I havn't read them in a long time).

    I don't really mean to insult the people who don't deserve it, but I'm trying to make a point here. You have more bad apples from the Pre-Cu community than good and it is tarnishing you alls image, when you all are trying to win the "Pre-CU is mature and the NGE community is Kids" argument.

    The OP is only the 20th person to create a thread reporting the same crap. To me, it is like some kid going to school bragging how he went to jail and how cool he is, because he broke the law. That is immature behavior and I'll call him on it.

    Why would you assume he's bragging? Obviously it's not a difficult task and most of the posts on this forum are from people ranting about the stupid shit SOE's done to them. I'm going to assume he's just venting.

    But, the OP's intentions aside, I'm writing my rant out ahead of time and jamming in everything I want to say. Pretty much guaranteed ban on this one, so I figured I'd make it count. Unfortunately it's been 21 days and the CSRs still haven't figured out why I can't post...

    i really didnt say anything too harsh other than they shot themselves in the foot a few times and the proof is in the population drops.

    Forums are not a right, it's a privilege. When you bought the game, the game box does not say you have a right to the forums, it says you have rights to play the game as long as you are paying. The forums are there for the games current subscriber base to communicate with each other and the game makers, while also following the rules stated by the moderators.

    You knew what you were posting would be considered trolling at this state of the game, but you did it anyways. You should not be suprised for getting banned for breaking rules on a forum you have no right, but a privalege to post on. You also should not be suprised when someone flames you for coming here to let everyone know that you were banned for doing something wrong. Mature adults don't brag when they break a rule, they are ashamed of their poor behavior and keep it to themselves.

    Please know that what you said is not untrue nor is it wrong to say where it is allowed, but you said it on forums that have rules against those things and following rules is what keeps our society civil.

    It's people like you that make the world a bad place to live. People should be motivated to make the world a better place by treating each other with common courtesy and not taking pride in failures. You have grown complacent with being mediocre and that's why you respond the way you do and why you value opinions from people who don't want to make something of themselves either. If that is how you speak to your grandma, then I really feel sorry for her and you. You have a lot to learn, that's all I have to say.

    I don't know why I even bother with you people. You're either too stupid to understand what I am saying or you're just being ignorant and need to mature ALOT, before you start to see the wisdom in what I say.

    Last I checked, people got to play the game they wanted as they were playing it. It is within SOE's rights to cancel the game at anytime, which is essentially what happened. So when you canceled your accounts by choice, you chose to no longer pay SOE for their product. Hense, you are no longer a paying customer and with you not paying, you should expect nothing in return. You should definitely expect something for your money. You got what you paid for and had fun playing the game while you were paying, so SOE and you are even. When the NGE came about, you stopped paying, so you did not lose any money. 

    I don't want to be your leader, but I have a better idea. Try stiving to be a decent and honorable person. This requires you to do what is right all the time and not say or do anything that might hurt or hinder an innocent person. The NGE players are innocent of any crimes and have done nothing to you all. But you all continue t make our lives hell on the forums that were designed for current players, not people who hate the current game.

    I'll stop here, because no doubt this has already went over your head.

    I know this one guy, he posts here quite a bit, a very impressive post count and all.  In the last 2 days alone he's told 152 different people to growup, that they are kids, stupid, or immature.  I think guys like that are who we should emulate.  It's that kind of e-character and e-panache, if you will, that makes forums work as an exchange of ideas and medium for thoughtful debate.  The inability to stop oneself from hittng the quote or reply button with a witty jab is truly the mark of a forum pro.

    You don't even have to know what you are talking about to participate in this e-democracy either.  I mean, let's just say for example, that somebody didn't even play in Pre-CU times, but really wants to enjoin the banter on pre-CU vs NGE threads.  I think the best way to do that, if I were that person, would be to habitually hit the reply button and question the age or wisdom of the poster that dared to impugn any position I may hold.  For, as we all know, the age and maturity of an internet video game forum poster are the keys to what makes one video game ruleset better than another.

    In conclusion, I expect to see many replies and hopefully some quotes questioning my intelligence and maturity in the future, because if I don't, I fear that the terrorists may have truly won.
