Quit messaging winners for their beta key.

Seriously, no one wants to hear the whines and complains about how "I really want to play, will you give me your beta key?"

It's not funny. It's not amusing. It's just annoying. If a person didn't want a beta key, they wouldn't have entered. If it turns out they want to give away their key, then THEY will announce it.

Quit bugging the rest of us. Seriously. The next person I get a private message from begging for my key is going to be reported to the staff at MMORPG.com.

    Yea, that guy is a wad.  I got an email also from him -What a waste of time and effort- I think its deplorable to spam all the winners with these LoTR nigerian sob stories.

    I just ignored him didn't even reply. There is noting anyone can offer me that would make me give up my beta spot. I been waiting too long for this game and to get a chance to beta test it.

    haha i got it too. but i emailed him back, and am quite sure i made him cry. what loser emails 200 strangers to beg, his ip should be banned

    I sent him a message back too. Little nasty but doubt that I made him cry. I could have been one heck of alot meaner to him but I didn't want him to report me and I'd get banned.

    What a nut. Even if I wasn't going to use the key, I'd give it to someone I know, not a stranger that begs me over a message board.

    I got one to, but I guess it didn't hurt for the guy to ask. I just chose to ignore it since I didn't want to give up beta spot.

    All I can say is.....

    DONT YOU TESTERS F%$ K UP THIS GAME!!!....

    1. They dont need a bunch of a$$ kissers who are just so happy to be a part of the testing that they are willing to accept any old garbage that the devs throw at them.

    2. Actually test the game. Look for what you percieve to be flaws and report them. Dont just see this as an opportunity to play the game first. Do the work that it takes to make the game good.

    3. Realize the importance of what you are involved in. This game is based on the novels that are responsible for 99% of all the fantasy based games and books in existence. To f#*K this game up would be an insult to the institution that it represents.

    4. If this game turns out $hitty we will not blame turbine. We will blame YOU... it is YOUR responsibility to let them know if it is bad regardless of the consequences. If they threaten you with losing your beta slot because they dont like your criticism then you ned to have the integrity to stand up to them and when they do kick you then let the rest of the MMO community know about it so we can act against them.

    5. Good luck and godspeed.

    That makes so much sense. Of course if they craft a shitty game and listen to none of the betatesters well (It happens, alot) then it's clearly our fault and not the company. Good job!

    Hmm yeah, the accounts are for beta testing, it clearly states that.

    So expect beta-testers... to test it. Voilá!


    Also got the pm from the guy wanting the key.

    Gave him a short reply.

    "Yes, I'll be using.


    No, I'll not transfer it to anyone.

    This will be my last and final online game that i will play. I want to beta test it to help turbine in finishing the game up so that it will be around for a very long time. I got my spot and i am going into this with the mindset that i am here to help test this game and make it the best it can be.

    I got an email from him too. I just ignored it. I'm not giving up my chance to teast this game. It is a bit pathetic to be spamming 200 people for their beta keys. Pool 'auld sod!!

    Besides, a guy who asks your key, trying to make the person who has got the key break one of the rules implied in the contest, cannot be a good beta tester!
    Prize CANNOT be transfered. That IS against the rules. Still, he asks for keys. What would he do with the NDA eh?

    Well, I do have to give him some credit for staying determined to get a key and wanting it bad enough but 200 people is a bit overboard. And who signs up for a contest if they are going to give their prize away. I got the same message and I have typed the code and stuff and got on the list but how do you get to your key now, do you just wait and they will send them to you or do you have to do something else.

    haha, I thought I was the only one to get that message. Yeah, my reply probably made him cry. Or at least question his religeon.
