MMORPG.com is proud to announce that we have partnered with Acclaim in order to bring another exciting beta contest to our members!

From now until October 1, 2006 @ 9PM EDT we will be taking entries into our 9Dragons 200 Beta Contest.  Entering this contest you will have a chance to win a beta test account for the upcoming fantasy game 9Dragons being published by Acclaim.

As with all of our contests, the more days you login to MMORPG.com the greater your chances of winning! (see official rules for details)

    With this contest, so does it mean the Beta will only start after
    October 1, 2006 @ 9PM EDT ? There was a thread on Acclaims's  9dragons
    forum, mentioning about beta may start sometimes in September.... So,
    has is been changed to Oct? Mmmm...

      Why would it mean that ? It just means the beta accounts they are giving away will be given away month from now period.

    Also wish they would stop giving out beta accounts to games doomed for the asian recycle bin.  LoTr at least was a big one, as far as mmorpgs go.

    Well, coz i would assume people get Beta key then participate in Beta testing... So, you are saying the Beta testing can start even before people get their beta key?

    LOL YES . That is exactly what I'm saying. Do you think all they had was 200 beta testers ? :)

    I want to see how this game plays out. I like the sytle they are going with, but I don't know much about the game play yet.

    this looks like another silkk road...my biggest worry is that the dam servers will be shit....

    if they are wnything like silk roads ill be damned....i just wont play ill give my free account to sumone else....

    and acctually this is only the amount of free accounts mmorpg.com is giving away acclaim is giving out a whole bunch and so are some other sites probably...

    You are assuming that just because MMORPG.COM is handing out the keys it means those will be the first people to beta test. The beta test can and probably will start before MMORPG.COM reaches the contest deadline and those winners will join the beta testers already playing from other contest as well as those chosen by the devs themselves.

    I am one of the 200 people that won a beta account for this game. Since this is the first time I actually won anything from MMORPG.com (besides the Matrix account I forgot to accept from another contest from this site), I don't know how long I'll have to wait until I get the beta letter that tells me how to get into it. I guess I'll just have to wait.

    Is there gonna be another drawing for beta testing since there were so many people who havent claimed tehir prizes yet?

    You mean even tho we won a key we still have to wait for them to invite us? Seems silly to me. First time I won any of these contests too so I guess I just need to wait and see what happens. I posted on the 9Dragons board ...maybe didnt explain myself too well, but not any the wiser so far.

    I kinda expected somewhere to put the ticket number on the 9Dragons site so I could prove I was entitled. If Im going about this all wrong, Id appreciate a pointer to the right one
