Dragon Question

I'm not sure if to get game or not but I'm at Walmart just looking at games and stuff. Then I looked at Horizons like hmm mind as well look at back. So I look at back saying like trading, crafting, etc. Then I saw play like up to 8 classes or something then I saw it. It said play either as your character or dragon. When it says dragon does it mean be a dragon in game and actually go and kill peeps for fun?

I want to cast magic missle.

Yes, you can play as a dragon.

Although I've heard the class is fairly broken, and they can't even fly right now...

I could be wrong though, I've read enough bad things about the game to keep me away.

There is absolutely no PvP in Horizons, thus you do not kill players with a Dragon. Dragon is just another race/class combination, albeit one that is quite different from all the others.

If your interest in buying this game is to play a Dragon, then do not buy it yet.

Wait until they create the Rites of Passage quest that will allow dragons to achieve adulthood, and thus be able to fly and own lairs. No doubt they'll make a big fuss over this and you'll see some press release.

You've been warned! Wait until they make it available!

Definitely listen to the poster who said to wait until it's all added. Currently it's all being tested, but, the dragon rite of passage is going to be tested "internally".

As such I would suggest waiting for a few months _after_ the Rite of Passage is added before you get it. Artifact has shown a huge propensity to nerf and I have little doubt that there will be "important" changes to the adult dragon after the aging ability is added. Waiting a few months after it's added could well save you a lot of headache.
