Eve looks like an amazing game so I really like to give it a shot. But I don't have the time right now to play eve much. What I was hoping is that I could start my trial now, play for a short while, level up some skills that take like weeks or months to level and come back and play on my account when I’ve got the free time. I should be able to play in about 2 months, so what I was wondering was...
1. How long does Eve keep your trail account? Because if they delete it before 2 months then that’s a real bummer for me.
2. Is it possible to queue up a lot of skills? So that after on skill finishes leveling, it will automatically go on to level another one.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

You character will still be there. But you will only be able to train on one skill. Find the one with the longest time and train on it during the 2 months.
Hope to see ya in EVE! If you need any help contact me in game ....Kari Awn.
Women who behave rarely make history
Now it will only finish the currently training skill...but one to try and do it with would be frigate 5 for the race you fly. Play about with this website so you can get a feel for the charatcer generation and what it will give you.
character start tool and perhaps download a application called evemon as well its great for planning out your character
Even frigate 5 will take a new player just over 2 weeks to finish. I don't think it is possible to get to a skill that takes more time than that while playing the 2 week trial. If you would want to take a look at the possible skill plans to try and pull this off, get EVEMon from http://evemon.battleclinic.com/. You will have to give it some kind of character data, so either start up your trial now and import it, or search the EVEMon forums for a blank character sheet data file. Then you experiment with the different skill plans.
Remember though that with EVE you can only train one level of one skill per character/account. So setting a skill to train at level 1 will not continue to train until level 5 is finished. You have to log in and change it each level yourself.

Thanks for all your replies they've all be really helpful. I was thinking about that iCeh but I thought it would be a waste of money, and probably be a huge temptation if I knew that I could play the game whenever. I was leaning towards a fighter type character so I think I might try to get to a stage where I can start to level cruiser 5 before the 14 days run out. You think this is a wise choice?
