i know the bloke you mean and i actually thought it was in idea that could be made possible. the ps3 can handle the engine etc. it would just need a keyboard and a mouse which given the usb slots it has would not be that much of a problem.
at the end of the day i reckon it would come down to if ccp wanted to do it and if it was possible to program it for a ps3.

i played eve online for a few months and was really enjoying the game but after a while i discovered the reason which forced me to quit playing the game.... the sheer arrogance of most of the players i met forced me to quit. dont get me wrong, there are plenty of decent players as well. whatever you do, if you are playing eve, do not mention you have a console. you will get slagged off at every opportunity by pc owners who seem to think that console owners are all retards or just kids who dont have the iq to play eve...what rubbish. its people like this who ruin the game for others. i got called all kinds of things by pc owners who obviously have a superiority complex or fealt threatened by console owners. if all pc online gamers are like this then i really am not going to bother as i have better things to do.....like playing on my ps2.
I still play console today on my PS2, my favorite games on it are DDR...

As a general rule, I don't listen to local channel unless there are several corp members in the area. I too would like to see a chat log of what transpired between you and the person/persons in question. I left WoW to play EVE with my husband. I found the EVE community to be really helpful and very mature. Of course you have those out there who like to smack talk and start crap, but in EVE it's a minority. I have found that people who like to smacktalk really hate eating static, if you know what I mean. So what if they called you a retard or said your mamma wore combat boots to bed. Who really cares what they think? They are getting off on pissing you off and they eat it up when you respond. Don't say anything, IGNORE is a really awesome alternative. I'm 38 years old for the love of God. I'm not gonna waste my game time in a bitchfest with some puke. If I want a good argument, I'll go get it from my own kids (17 & 16, both boys). Quitting over something so trivial is lame.
