Title says it all Archlord just went to open beta on Fileplanet http://www.fileplanet.com/ .

    Also I dont see anything about it being in open beta , nor do i see anything on their main site :)

    It's not Open fool , they are offering it to subscirbers of Fileplanet only.

    LOL...easy on the name calling.  The OP is correct.  I'm not sure why it isn't advertised on Fileplanet.  Maybe because Archlord is subpar?  I'm going to try it first before judging the game.  Maybe it'll be a good time waster until beta selections from other major upcoming MMOs. 

    I'm not a Fileplanet paying subscriber, just a Fileplanet member, and I was able to get a beta key a few minutes ago.

    I played it for a bit now and must say that I just can't get used to the graphics at all. I really don#t like the look of it. Gameplay wise, so far its OK I guess. Won't play it after beta though

    I dont know why this game was made, after pllaying it for 3 hours. It is exactly like lienage 2. I  will paly it until beta is over, but i have no intentions of playing it on release. Unless it goes totally free with paysotp like the rest of the korean imports that dont cut it.

    U should watch ur mouth "fool" because whoever wants can join fileplanet for FREE and get the open beta there are two kinds of subscribers in fileplanet free and nonfree and to get that open beta its FREE

    If it was free it would be a good game but fact is its p2p therefore you expect more thus the reason it sucks.

    Archlord is an alright game thus far.  I'm having some fun with it, but the controls and movement are kinda awry for my taste.  Maybe I haven't gotten into it enough.  From what I'm reading about it and seeing, there's some potential there though.

    If you're a fileplanet subscriber I suggest checking it out.  I can't guarantee that it's something I'll stick with forever, but for now it's pretty entertaining.

    I will say the game isnt so attractive.The graphic is not so appealing.As for the gameplay,i cant say much since i havent tried it.

    that game is even more worse than silkroad and sr is already bad  except you have to pay for this shit here

    i dont care about the graphic but gameplay and the whole feeling is really cheap :/

    - no indidvidual character stat creation

    - open pvp but only with penalty, no race vs race or faction vs faction

    - not much diversification with skills if you compare some classes

    - pot spamming

    - no really goal in this game or anything to work for

    - boring quests

    - grind starts early

    Silkroad is garbage compared to this game even if archlord isnt that good

    3.o rly? You have to choose carefully what ya gonna do cuz you cant get it all.

    I wouldn't even have wasted my time talking to him.  I hear all these comments about korean MMO's sucking.  Like investing 5 mins in one korean MMO.  Gives them enough insight to know how every other game is.  Talk alot of ****, but won't touch some of the more original ones like, Granado Espada.  Yet are quick to jump on the bandwagon of each and every US released MMO.  Like those are any less grind intensive.  All fantasy, but yet none of them clones right? lol

    After a few hours of downloading, I installed the game and start playing. After an hour or so, I quit and uninstalled it.

    Archlord is great for a free mmorpg game, if they adjust a few things. But to p2p, it's going down the drain.

    Granado Espada gameplay is rather vague and poorly executed, it's the same PvE any other asian MMO have like this one, Archlord, no real AI system, nothing ground-breaking - well it's a grind game so what do you expect?

    Just started with ArchLord and I will probaly play 2-3 hours today and perhaps some hours if I get to tommorow.

    And being able to spam pots in a MMORPG is retarded, then in a fight it only comes out to lvl/gear/who brings the most pots, no personal skill nor twitch gameplay required.

    The first one get a real set of armor, damn, plastic, ooo shiny... Some people are easily amazed and it's only one person amongst alot.

    Being ArchLord in such a anti-sandbox game where the enviroment is static and the game's life seem to be the same it is now, working towards being ArchLord playing 24/7, don't think you can become ArchLord if you have a busy work and/or social life - I don't, but I won't spend that much time with this game.

    That amused me greatwulf. :D Lineage2 has nearly no char customization, you could say that any game have more char customization than Lineage 2... People sure do throw some stupid comparisons.

    And Roin "All fantasy, but yet none of them clones right? lol", You can't deny that everyother Asian MMO looks the friggin same but with a little twist that aint that groundbreaking.

    I've been playing Asian MMO's since I started playing western, theres some gems but most of them are fillers.

    Well, if it is your type of game be happy - its totally not mine so you have to accept my opinion like i do yours of course. The goal to be Archlord is for me so uninteresting, since only one or even only a handfull of several houndreds player can be the archlord. Sorry, but its not goal for me to be a super hero rather more to have some stratgical goals, faction goals or changes of the ownership of areas with less grind and time consument. I do have a life and need to work almost every day to pay the flat, so forget the archlord arguement. Since the game is free in Asia and has an integrated shop-system, i wont pay a monthly fee, the box and more investment for the item shop, thats just a marketing system i dont support (but thats a different story) Iam also no fan of lineage 2 since i do not like the pvp system in there. My games are more like DAOC, Shadowbane, Planetside etc. I did level up 4 different chars to lvl 11 in AL, yeah sorry to say but it isnt my thing. If you like it, go ahead np. The only thing is, that you will find many people with similar arguements in the AL forums, so its not just the opinion of a single guy like me.  Probably i just need more content variation and a different pvp system like you guys, but thats ok - enjoy the game.
