How long does a Banned last in eve-online i was banned 2 days ago for getting scammed for 25mil which isnt alot but that was all i had and i was so piss that i told him i will find a way to get his account suspended. which they consider as impersonation of a GM i never said that i was a GM

    it depends, up to 2 weeks afaik. (unless its a perma ban, in witch case you are screwed.)

    I think the duration is based upon a case-by-case scenario.  You should be able to send email to CCP's technical support asking to clarify if you've recieved a suspension or a full ban. 

    3 days seems to be typical when the offense isn't to audacious; impersonating a GM is pretty balsy!

    Ya i know that but i didnt impersonate them but my last message may seem taht way after i read it over and over again it sound like i had rights to remove his account i didnt mean it in that way. this game to addictive.
    Also how can i find out if its a penmant banned? this is my first bad action.

    Well not sure but I think it should stand in a box when you try and log in for how long you are banned.

    Atleast that is what I have read somewhere....

    You should recieve an e-mail that states why you were banned and for how long. Check your junk-mail in your e-mail program to see if it got caught in the spam filter. Other than that e-mail mods@ccpgames.com to find out what happened. Though from the sounds of it they said you tried to impersonate a GM. If it was a mis-understanding then talk to them. They are usually pretty open to that.
