Auto Assault - Free Promotion

GameStop, and possibly EB, are having a PC game special right now. You can buy any PC game and get a copy of Auto Assault for free.

I went out and picked up Deus Ex 2 for $4.99 and got a copy. Interesting little MMO. It is not one I could see myself subscribing to, but I am sure some of you out there might like it.

    yeah the game was kinda cool for a few weeks, in fact i had a trial and had a blast so i bough the game(unopened box on ebay , 12 bucks).

    by the time my trail was over though, so was i. still to this day havent taken the plastic off the box so dont even know to trust this ebay dealer or not wether the cd key is really working hehe

    In my opinino NetDevil would have done much better had they went with a different publishing company. NCSoft has a stigma following it, much like Turbine now a days. That coupled with the insane amount of bugs hurt the game. Hopefully they can pull a funcom and come out with a "save the game" expansion, lol.

    I enjoyed it, but as many other former players will say, it wasn't deep or challenging enough for me to stay and pay the subscription.  It is another one of those mmorpgs that need a new payment model, because it is different than the mmos we are used to and have subscribed to in the past, but its not bad.  It needs more work, however.  It needs something to keep me hooked for more than a few weeks at a time.

    It was quite interesting, but Im not about to pay for a game with so many crippling bugs.

    I bought the game and played for the first month. It was a fun game, but as everyone else says it didnt really merit a monthly subscription. There wasnt enough depth to it. It clearly wasnt ready to be released either. Their biggest mistake was segregating the EU and US servers. Alot of people left on the EU servers because the lack of people there. Also, it felt like the EU servers were an afterthought. We couldnt write on the US forums and we'd find out info from the us forums about things that were happening to the game before they were posted on our site.  The devs would only post after we complained they didnt post. The test server was only for US players and the EU servers and we had no in game support. So you can imagine, I didnt hang about for long. I HATE international segregation in online games.
