Originally posted by Ithuriel Breath of Fire would be sweet, would love to turn into dragon in-game. Someone else said a White Wolf mmo, would be cool, as long as they don't include the stupid faeries or changelings or whatever the hell they're called. Would love to see Warhammer 40k being made into mmo rather than Warhammer Fantasy, but meh, what can you do.
You know that attitude about changeling is very common, but if you've ever played a game of it you wouldn't feel that way... its a dark and grity and nasty world just like the rest of the world of darkness, it fits in perfectly... the system that never really fit well was mummy. To much hope.
If they did a WOD mmo I'd like to see Vampire, Werewolf, & Mage as the "core game" then expansions in order for Hunter, Changeling, Eastern, Other Changeing Breeds, Sorc, and onto the less known systems.
Warhammer 40K, or one of the varients (Epic, Necromunda, Inquisitor, Battlefleet Gothic).Infact a combination of Battlefleet Gothic and Inquisitor would rock.
Pokemon
Jet Set Radio
Something that uses the sanity system from Eternal Darkness
C&C: Tiberian Sun. But actually well made... Unlike some FPS games we shall not utter the name of...
Fallout 2. Post apocalypse ftw.
Ravenshield - "huh?!" I hear you say... I think it could work really well. A strike team orientated Planetside version, BUT with the only worthwhile FPS engine.
[Stronghold] RTS MMO where you build your fortresses and try to conquer most land possible with allied factions (crusaders vs arabs). At beggining stuff would build quickly so you dont get bored, but the good stuff would take lots to be made, like days... and you would have to defend it and stuff. Also imagine being able to bribe other players for protection or something like that. It wouldnt be much massive players on same servers, but massive servers with enough players to keep the all worlds going. Also no stupid magic and wizards, just medieval steel... would be awesome.
[Neverwinter Nights] Well, NWN multiplayer rocks... even without the thing that you can mod everything on your server. Massively would be cool. But I'm kinda tired of fantasy MMOs.
Command and Conquer (tiberian series). Would be an awesome MMOFPS. A planetside style game, conquer the world etc. NOD vs GDI. Commanders get an overview of the battlefield (like BF2's?).
KOTOR Online! Like SWG but set in that timeline. I've always thought SWG was set in the wrong timeline, but then i guess it wouldn't attract as many people at release (zomg, it's darth vader).
World War 1 would be a good choice for a MMOG because it was a mostly stagnant war which involved a lot of fronts and nations thus giving players a lot of options for gameplay.
Unlike WW2 online which isn't a true persistent world because it resets itself every 3 months and focuses on a limited battlefield and doesn't historically progress, a MMOG based on WW1 could follow a historic progression more easily with the introduction of new planes and weapons and tactics. The game would accurately span approximately 3 years before restarting.

With out a doubt a GOOD Star Wars MMORPG like pre SWG Jedi fiasco.
Halo, I would love to be a brute or an elite, hell, even a grunt could be hystericle.
Elder Scrolls
Baldur's gate (1 and 2, not hte shite on Xbox)
Something kinda like fable, where your character grows older and will die eventually (but add that you would need to create offspring with other players)
something where the game is based on skill, not who has the most uber gear.
Something where I don't have to do the same dungeun 300 times in hopes of getting that one piece of clothing I need to make it so I can compete with everyone else (WoW I'm looking in your directiion)

for the base world, Oblivion, (much bigger of course). Then throw in the HL2 physics engine (like Dark Messiah of Might and Magic did). Then add various features to make the world more dynamic, i.e. building stuff, destroying stuff, etc. So merge those three things together, with morrowind/oblivion world/lore...
how about a life sim not like sims more like u start off like 12 or 21 and work ur way through life as u want it? sounds boring but im running out of ideas
