Arg can't a good game come out already ... and i don't mean crappy Korean MMO point and click rehashed garbage.
Yes I know I'm being immature, but there comes a point in every addicts life that you just need that fix, or you'll start mugging old ladies or breaking into first floor apartments.
I'm so tired of WOW after 2 years and I've tried every game.. OMG I just paid 19.95 for the original Asheron's call lol
I'm desperate!

Same here...so I dug out my old computer...and now having a ball playing Privateer again. Next week will be yet another run (I think this will be the 13th) of Fallout 2.
Anyone for a good game of Battle chess?
Whats the hold up guys?!?!?!
Have no fear. Neverwinter Nights 2 is soon here.
Not an MMORPG in the classic point of view that you have to pay, but the next best thing. Also free to play online.
Give MMOs a break and play NWN2 when its released.
I agree, NWN2 looks very cool. I remember playing the original game to death.
But like KOTR2...I reckon NWN2 will be buggy as hell for the first couple of months after release, (same developers and all).
and for that fallout 2 fan: look up for soon to appear fallout 3, it's beeing made by bethesda softworks (spelling error most probable), same guys that made elder scrolls series

Don't click here...no2

Does Neverwinter Nights 2 still use the Aurora graphics engine?
Neverwinter
Nights 2?s graphics engine has been replaced by the next-generation
Electron engine, which supports advanced graphical features like fully
dynamic lighting, normal mapping, specular mapping, shadow maps, and
more.
So, they aren't reusing the same engine from NWN.
Clicky
NWN2 Look's decent at best *I dont mean to offend the fan boys* But.. the one thing I want to see is a good game... i dont care if its monthly pay, free to play, free to download, I just want a good game. What is a good game?
Heck, The gaming community is at a halt in my opinion, Theres options we'd like to mix but, alone they suck, or we get good gameplay and the graphics just throw us off. We all would like good graphics sure its not the most important thing, I want variety in a game, I want my mage to have his own unique spells. I want my warrior to have a sword and armor set that's unique to him in some way, not a +9 golden glowing (insert best armor set in game) I want to be able to actually have a decent fight between a guy who decided he wanted fast hits at a lower attack power and me going all out attack, and it being a close fight.
Heres an idea to devs, give us a sense of individuality not, 'Get your fireball to lvl 4 and only use this cause everything else has no advantage to this major damage spell' repeat's
I'm sorry for the rant I got lost in thought's there.
What is with all the cutsey jumping mushroom games anyways? The only place for mushrooms is in a stir fry. They should not be able to kill you!
I think I am losing it
Lots of great games come out every month. Expand your horizons a little, grow up, and learn some patience.
NW2 comes out soon, Age of Conan is on the horizon and so is LOTR online...things don't look as grim as it would seem. I recently tried WoW free 14 day trial, and I have to say that the gameplay is really good, smooth without lag...but the cartoony graphics don't work for me. I keep expecting to hear "Elf needs food!"
by "on the horizon" you mean months and possible years of waiting right?
If you dont have a 60 at WoW, then you should definitely give that game shot. Though it's sorely lacking in the end game, 1-60 is worth the time you invest in that game. I had fun..
But for the rest, I'm the same with you guys. There is NO game worth playing :S I would so give Lineage II a shot if it werent for the bots

Q4 and 2007 are going to be really big turning points for games, what with the release of two new systems and a huge array of very anticipated MMO titles. It's hard to find one game that meets all your particular needs, whether it be a specific style of gameplay or just not having any fees... the chances of finding that perfect MMO for your are slim to none. Keep in mind though, that the MMO genre is relatively new as far as the history of video games is concerned. New titles with entirely different styles are coming out with each passing day, and the number of titles to choose from only increases as more people realize just how popular these kinds of games can become (WoW is pretty much a game publisher's dream). WoW appeals to a lot of people, but eventually other games will come out that will have a very different style, and possibly appeal to just as many players. If there's one thing I've learned, it's that the age of MMORPGs is merely just beginning. And the only way to fight the downtime between games is to be patient and just be ever watchful.
Because who knows... that one game you've been waiting for might be announced sooner than you think...
Dark Messiah of Might and Magic
Gothic 3
Company of Heroes
Medieval 2: Total War (Personally I'm looking forward to this one the most)
Neverwinter Nights 2
Warhammer: Mark of Chaos
and probably some other ones I'm forgetting.

So, I stick to my ps2 games even though i get bored of them I do go back to them now and then. Most mmo's I either find some good friends, spend time there, or i end up geting burnt out of the game from playing it to much.
Now this brings up another question of mine, Anyone else end up geting burnt out from playing a game to much?
