Gate to heavens shut down. 29 september

Not many of you will care, since its "just another free to play korean mmorpg", but E-games's Gate to heaves is closing down:

 Dear GTH Players,

As some of you may recall, some months ago we announced that Gate To
Heavens would be receiving minimal support due to lack of developer
response. Since then we have tried our best to keep the server running
as well as we can given the circumstances.

Unfortunately it has become unfeasible to keep the server running
for any longer. It has sadly become impossible to keep the game within
a minimal standard of playability without support from the game
developers. Therefore, the decision has been made to shut down the
servers of Gate To Heavens on 31st October 2006.

This decision was hard to make and was only made after much
deliberation, after no feasible means were found to keep the game
running.

We very much appreciate the effort, time and money our players have
spent to keep the game running for as long as it has. We thank you from
the bottom of our hearts for continuing to be with us all this time. It
was good while it lasted.

Gate To Heavens will be shut down in stages according to the schedule below:

7th September 2006  - Atemz item mall shut down
31st October 2006  - Game Server, Forum, Website, and Launcher shut down

The message says the game will close on 31st october. this is not the latest news message, and the official date is now 29 september.

    Yeah.. well, I never could play that game. The updater said "Error connecting to server" so I uninstalled it

    The game was not that fun to be honest. PvP was horrible and the PvE was even worse. The only fun part about the whole thing was listening to the music. It had a funky 5/4 groove in the main city 

    MMO migrant.

    Well I don't care how crappy a game is...its always sad to see any MMO fall, considering how rare it happens. The only 2 other MMO's I can think that crashed are A2...and uhh...Ok, can't remember. But it does suck to see games die. No matter how shitty a game is, it will still have a playerbase and those people will still be dissiapointed.
