If WoW Had No Monthly Fee What Would Be Better

And i got guild wars and i love it more then anyother mmorpg

    If WoW had no monthly fee, I would have been on that months ago.

    But, the two games would STILL not be comparable, and as such it would all come down to a matter of personal preference.

    its amazing how so many people still dont know guildwars is a new ball game. there is no other game that can be compared to it. wow is like the grandfather of guildwars , just with almost the same age.

    If WoW was free I would be on it in heart beat in the barrens spaming WoW Suxors, etc.

    and It would be true... if WoW was free the lag would be so psycho, you wouldn't even be able to play.

    If lag wasn't an issue then the fact that the community would be even worse than it is now would make it even more unbearable.

    I would still play guild wars. I hate the idea of losing because someone did more grind than me. I dont see why everyone likes to grind for levels and items. I prefer to play the game, thank you very much.

    if wow was free it would be an even bigger disaster than it already is, and that is a bigger reason for me to hate it more than i already do.

    I actually quit WoW after I finaly figured out GW.  You can't really compare the two games. And no, I wouldn't play WoW even if it was free. GW is a masterpiece of a game, imho. WoW is just another(very well done) MMO.

    Wouldn't play it. I don't mind paying a monthly fee for a game (played plenty of games in the past with a monthly fee), just wouldn't pay it for WoW. I would however be willing to pay a monthly fee for GW.

    I maybe would play WoW if it had no monthly fee... but I can't decide... Gw have something WoW misses and WoW something GW misses

    Before reading I have to say that I am a WoW player.

    I would play GW but from what I heard you don't run into other players unless you're in the main city or something. I don't know if this is the case. I do remember this was what it was like when I did the open beta or w/e it was a few years back.

    If this is the case then I don't think I would play GW since to me it's important that I run into other players anywhere in the game.

    However what does interest me about GW isn't the free cost but the pvp portion of it. It seems to be very organized.

    I think my biggest reason for not spending time to play GW is probably because WoW is really a grind type game and I don't want to fall behind in it. I only have time to play one game and I really don't want spend time playing another game and realizing that I wasted my time when I could have been progressing in WoW.

    It's still the case, and I doubt it'll ever change. Personally, I don't have a problem with that. Very often, you barely interact with people you meet 'out in the open' in MMOs anyway, since everyone is doing their own thing (leveling), so I don't really miss it.

    And yeah...GW is keeping me busy with PvP. New chapters are fun for a few weeks, but what keeps me logging in every night is my GvG team. For me, GW has the funnest PvP I have ever done.
