Nice review of Mythica in April issue of Computer Gaming Magazine. It starts with:

"Just before this issue went to press, Mythic Entertainment(the guys behind Dark Age of Camelot) demanded that microsoft change the name to Mythica. We don't have the new title as we go to press but that doesn't change how this MMORPG is shaping up. That said on with the preview."

And just after we went to press...ooops.

    looks like CGM is way behind.  That was posted on this site I believe last month.  Also it was already posted on this site how MS dropped Mythica.  Just another example of high electronic media overpowers paper.

    I got this issue in the mail recently and laughed at the irony, but it's not that the CGW staff is asleep at the switch.  A print magazine has to go to press well before you see it on the newsstand.  The magazine you are reading was probably finalized in early to mid January.  Online press (such as mmorpg.com image) has an advantage in that we can update news as it happens.  Print media are still bound by the age old problems of printing deadlines and distribution cycles.

    Still, it was pretty funny to read the article, knowing what I know now.  It also bummed me out again to think that such a cool game is now on the scrap heap. image
