I'm sure the Austin Game Conference will pique the interest of some new fans, so I'd like to post some relevant information.

Most importantly...
THERE IS NO RELEASE DATE OR SCHEDULE FOR BETA

Icarus has been careful not to mention any dates whatsoever.  Why?  They want to keep hype to a minimum until they are ready.  This means we probably won't know about beta until the day of, and we won't hear a release date until late beta.
