I had some long drawn idea of what you could do to get money.  But I'm not giving you any of mine.  Go earn your own.  It'll mean more to you in the long run.

There are certainly those of us who would be all ears to hear any money making suggestions veteran players would care to discolse, however.

If you are a new player do like 2-3 quests and you should have 1k easy.  Though I see no reason at all a new player would need money anytime soon since you can get id kits, and salvage kits from collectors really easy now.

I've been playing since release and NEVER had more then 12k to my name.  You simply don't "need" tons of money in GWs.  Unless your trying to get the fancy armor and weapons, which you don't "need"

Kill stuff...take the loot....sell it. Not too tuff.

Use ID kits on blue or better items before you sell.

I shoot for the curve... anything above that is gravy.

If you were in my guild, you would not have the time to finish your sentence you'd be... rightfully kicked out of the guild. Beggar is not a class to play ingame.

I have only made about 400k on my account so don't ask me for money making tips, especially not about farming ectoplasm in the underworld with an ss necro and a 55 monk!

Haha xD Money ain't a problem... just grab a ton of quests and follow the storyline quests and you'll be fine. You really shouldn't have a money problem until you're like done with all story driven quests.

Like the others said, making money is really very easy in Guild Wars.

But anyway, begging for it is not going to get you anything. Everybody starts of with nothing and even months in the game, most of us still have very little...

Money, its easy to get in GW and its not needed to be a good player.

Theres collectors items and armors that are almost the same as the famous 'Greens' and '15k or FoW' armors.

Why worry about being a newb? Its worse if u are a noob, beggar. If u need tips how to make money, theres enough people who did put some builds online at sites like Wiki, Guru.

My advise would be, make a warrior and secondry monk. Go farm some monsters that cant kill u easy with numbers. Keep doing this and always sell every bit of stuff u get. Use ID and EXP Salvage kits. Brings in loads of money. Buy keys, u never know what u get;)

anyways, if people ask 50g to open their storage, I can and mostly will help them. Not that I need 50g back. 1k? I'd say go work for ur money, my 15ks and nice weps didnt came walkin to me....

    Like the previous guy said.

Make one W/Mo (good for noobs) and farm money.

You can put your money in the storage. And when you make new chars you can put any amount of money in the bank that is shared with every other character you own. So you only need one char that "makes" money. The other ones can do whatever you want.

Aren't we being a little harsh to the cherry?

In all seriousness, GW is great in that the need for gold scales nicely as you level.  You'll never find yourself trying to afford decent gear and a mount while you still only earn a few gold an hour. Just concentrate on leveling up and by the time you hit level 19-20 you will easily be able to afford a good set of 1.5 K armor and a decent weapon. There's really no need for much cash before then - your skills will be cheap and you can collect drops to get collector armor for free.

Beat the game in Factions and you'll get your first good green item.

When you've got some experience, you can try your hand at solo farming - there are several builds that work well. I personally like using a barrage ranger in Pongmei Valley outside the capital where I can earn about 7-10K an hour. Get a bit more experienced and you can do UW and FOW for big bucks.

Go to guild wiki and the other major websites for how-to guides and even videos.

    1) I'd say some are... I wasn't with my comment. I'm just saying theres enough ways to farm easy money. And theres plenty of people that will take a 'newbie' on a solo-farm ride anywhere. I just agree with the guy I'll show a small tour, give them my own builds, that work just great for me. Teach em a  bit how to use or tweak it for themselves and mostly it works out just fine.

    2) the experience part, well it is true u need to know a bit of what the **** am I doing out here all alone... Even Henchman take money and drops, only the last bit u dont see... but you will notice a huge more dropload if u and a buddy just go out for a dual Underworld run or 1-4 'Oro' farming  ( Oro are green weapons with perfect stats, I'd say their for the lazy people:P but I just use those with rare skin + good mods only:P >> Drago's Flatbow )

Besides, if everybody online in GW gave me just 1k, i'd be rich that's for sure, I could buy almost anything I wanted... but I'd have no IDEA how to make good use of it once out there....
