Everyone knows that there are some people that are just "cool". I'm not talking about popular, because there are some people who end up popular who are total assholes. I'm talking about that cool person that everyone is attracted to for all the right reasons. They're fun, approachable, sincere, clever and witty, you know what I'm talking about.
I'm just curious, what is it that you think makes a person like that? Are some people just born that way or is it a trait that anyone can develop?

I'm not talking about the "I dont give a crap what anyone else thinks" type confidence where you dye your hair purple with pink polka dots and smear eyeliner on and act all cool. I'm talking about the deep down belief and feling of self assurance.

lol i own a corncob pipe, bought it at partycentral...the thing surprisingly works well... ontopic- people are only cool when they have no care, and are laid back...if you can find a way to do that you'll probably be more approachable...but for me its camel turkish royals all the way

Seriously, I've never known anyone like that. When I'm comfortable, I've been described as "cool", but I'm not really comfortable at school, so really only people who come over see that side of me. And frankly, I'm a son of a bitch when I'm "cool". Why? When you're relaxed, witty comments just roll off the tongue. Unfortunately, most of the witty things that roll off my tongue just happen to be a bit, uh... "sharp", is all.

For example, answering the teacher's questions will show to others in your class that you're socialable (just don't over-do it, else it'll get irritating), and also being talkative with everyone you meet will help alot.
And you need confidence for all that, that's what I learned from my first-hand experiences.

Seriously, though, that was hilarious.
Oh, and Bababooey: I'm relaxed, but I don't convey things well in text. Plus, I try to be respectful when I'm online. Yeah, I consider most of my behavior here respectful. Scary, huh?
-Some people look at the world and realize that it's absurd. There are three reactions to this:
1)Getting bitter about it and futilely opposing it.
2)Being amused and self destructive.
3)Being amused and taking advantage of the system and other people.
2 makes you cool until you are 25ish. 3 make you cool by your mid 20s, though 1 can get you chicks if you are really really good at it. Both Lenin and Derrida probably smacked some booties in their time.
The only downside to #1 is that you can't play it off even if you succeed. For example, if you are captivating les femmes at the french coffee shop, you always have to be like, "Mais non Monique, not right now, I am le bored."
I'm confused now.

But seriously im soo cool people say im cool with a k as in kool, yea thats how kool i am.
i think its more about the stuff they are into and the trends at the time. Also a big part is just how they act in social situations. any way, did u make this to take tips to try and be cool urself, just wondering
