Alliance is so boned in Burning Crusade in pvp

The only thing that really make alliance superior to horde in pvp was paladins, they made hands down the best pvp healers with there high plate survivability/divine sh ield to heal for 12 seconds unharrased by crowd control and silences and incredible utility/support spells, now that horde has paladins they will not only have all that but they will ALSO have superior warriors/rogues/warlocks/shadows priests thanks to there inherent racial traits

Put some dranae paladins and human warriors and some  gnome warlocks up against some blood elf paladins tauren warrior and orc warlocks and you got yourself some OWNED alliance totally warstomped/ae silenced/ WTF PWNED STUN RESISTED into ownage

Alliance = pwned hardcore, im gonna have fun owning all you band wagoning noobs who picked alliance for ez mode pve and ez mode world pvp thanks to your superior numbers....u are soooo ded noobs!

Thanks for your useless reply sir, but any competent alliance team knows the only way to win any group pvp vs another competent horde team is through paladins, not enough pals = alliance lose ez pie

xbbuster you have proved to me that you know nothing of this game. hybrid classes dont give advantages to either side, your also getting shamans if you didnt forget. a shammy can double the dps of his group with one totem, and pallys arent the best pvp healers, you sir are retarded. the more pallys means the more you win? all i can say is lawl. i honestly feel sorry for you if you think a 2 second stun is gonna change the tide of GROUP PVP, yes it may have an effect on 1v1 but 1v1 is already bullshit in this game, aoe silence? that 2-3 second silence on a warrior and shaman is totally overpowered... lmfao
humans = +1 crit with swords/maces, perception (makes everyone in a 20 yard radius thats stealthed visible)
gnomes = +5% mana (level 60 with good gear and 6k mana gives another 300 mana), escape artist (removes ALL                 MOVEMENT IMPAIRING EFFECTS, 1 minute cooldown)
dranei  = so far all ive heard of is a highly effective HOT thats free of mana

PLEASE explain to me how horde racials dont compare to alliance? your an idiot

I'm just glad that alliance will finally get to see how lame paladins are in the bg's. Ofcoarse I'm not really looking forward to going up against shamans now either.

WOW.  I'm shocked.  I mean, I thought that it was Shamans that were letting the Horde win.  In fact, I was unaware the Alliance even won PUGs, except for those matches against half a team.  Hmm.. odd.

    /sarcasm off.

Have you EVER played?  Paladin's are only really good in WSG.  Other then that, they're only mildly useful because of their low damage.  Shamans, however, are exceptionally good in any BG.

TBH i played both sides and think shamans and paladins all have their pros and cons.

Shamans are better in AV by a mile ,while paladins are tad better in WSG and AB.

Paladins are a bit more useful in raids too then the shamans.Ofc the shamans i understand are getting the bloodlust(correct me if wrong) which will make them more useful in raids for sure.

But,maybe i am the only one who moans the lose of uniqueness to a side.Once each side gets paladins and shamans the only reason to pick alliance over horde is the racial triats(not a big deal) and the scenery.

I think this is really something i did not want to see happen. But sadly i think blizzard went for the easiest solution to the constant posting for "nerf the shaman" from alliance and "nerf the paladin" from horde.

Just give them the class and no one can moan anymore.

Blizzard is not the only one plagued by such calls for classes unique to one side.I recall all the moaning for nerfs in DAoC who thankfully stuck to their guns and adjusted as they saw it needs to be(thus i will hang my hat with mythic's WAR when the game goes live as i trust them  more then blizzard,SoE or ncsoft).

The lose of uniqueness is actually very sad and i was unhappy to hear this.

When has blizzard not showen complete love to the Horde. Just look at paladins and shamens.

IMO alliance is more favored than Horde. Of course when I played wow i played horde which is prolly why I am saying this. But i think Palidans are much better than shamans.

Wow, if you think paladins ruled the pvp field for alliance you're sadly mistaken!

I don't think I EVER saw a PVP battle in WoW that was turned because of a paladin.

Besides, we get shaman's as well.

lol If I had a dollar for every time I got dropped in BG (which was the amount of "content" in the end game) by a Shaman chain lightening... I left about when Paladins became nukers instead of melee, but I assume they still don't have a large AOE nuke...so I can only see this change as being good for the Alliance since more AOE damage, in general, seems to help in BG.

In an unrelated note: gg Blizzard on the "lore" side of the game again!

    ok buddy.... no...

paladins were the only thing making allies pve based and shammys were making horde pvp... now pve and pvp will be more even...

even though im not happy with allies getting shammys and horde getting pallys its just gonna make the game more even

    Wrong.

If both classes played properly they were equally good in PvP, but when it comes to PvE paladins had Salvation.

It is easy to pick out who plays primarily Alliance, Horde or a mixture.

At least we'll put the Pally vs Shammy dead horse to rest with the BC.

I think there will be more people playing Horde 6 months after BC is released. Most people will level their current batch of 60s to 70, play around with the new dungeons and reroll a BE.

So far BEs look overpowered, so right now... "Alliance is so boned in Burning Crusade in pvp".

Cant remember the last time I got supported by a paladin in BGs :P

    "Lolol, heal? I'm dps paladin!"

At least you can always count on a shaman using windfury and shocks, but not all paladins heal!

Alliance will be better of now I think, shamans are GREAT anti-spellcasters. They can totally ruin a priests healing routine with some well timed shocks. ;p

Cant wait for TBC tbh :)
