    Im referring to the posts of people saying, Wow kids play MMO's this is great. Lets make a big deal out of it, your never going to escape it so stfu.

    You shouldn't pay attention to those people, if they think that 'everyone' that plays World of Warcraft are kids, then they aren't worth taking seriously.

    i complain about people who act like kids.  not being seen in RL by the people isn't an excuse to act 6-8.

    I find it amazing that by 2020 first world countries will be competing to get immigrants.

    WOW has an easy cure for annoying chat, leave the channel. I dont mind it, and its not nearly as bad as some of the free games.

    Sometimes its funny anyways. I admit I've been slightly tipsy and had some rather humourous general chat conversations....


    People who are all anal about these things, i wouldn't want to play with them anyways. I've played games where you crack a joke and everyone thinks you're serious, and go off their rockers. Lighten up I say. Its a game.

    When you said sick of complaining, I thought you meant people complaining about how much the MMO that they are playing "sucks".  That's what I'm sick of.  I hear people talk about how much they hate the game that they've been playing for 3 years.  Well my first question is, if you hate it so much, why have you stuck with it for so long?  And if it really is that bad, complaining is not really constructive imo, the best thing to do is to quit and move onto something else.  And if you can't find a game that you like at all, don't play any and find something else to do.  The market always dictates what is popular and what is not.  If there's nothing currently out there that meets your needs, something should eventually come along that will.  And if it doesn't then maybe you are the one who should do something about than just complain all the time.

    I'm not sick of it. It can be annoying, but that is what you get when kids play MMORPGs. Heck, I know aduilts who act like kids. They chat like, 'hi can i plz join ur group/ i need plvl plzzzzz!!!!!1111111'

    I just say, "No."

    What I do get sick of is troll threads like this.  Children sharing the game space with adults is a legitimate thing to talk about. Of course there are threads that are constructive and threads that are not constructive but its a legit subject to talk about.

    Being on ventrilo or teamspeak will show you that the average gamer is older than you would think, just because people are older does not mean they are going to be more mature. The fact is you just have to suck it up and keep playing...

    I play games with people who are generally older than me. I play Battlefield 2 with people that are, on average, more than ten years older than me. In gaming, age means nothing when it comes to behavior. I've played with sixteen year olds that seem smart, reasonable, and likeable, while I've played with fourty year olds that can't stop screaming at a video game and really need their ritalin.

    As far as complaining goes, does complaining about how much complaining annoys you seem a little redundant?

    The modern MMORPG is simply not worthy, of the acronym RPG. The straight grind and lack of atmosphere leave me with no choice. From this day forth, World of Warcraft, Everquest 2, and all the games like them shall be referred to as PIGCRAP. People In Guilds Constantly Raiding And Power-leveling

    In the way that I'm tired of hearing people's opinion on this subject who think younger gamers are the only offenders of stupidity, you bet.

    Complaining about stupidity in general? No. Bitching is what many of us do best.

    Well i agree with Trigger. he's right -  anyone has the right to play wow or other mmo's so just ignore those kind of people and just let's enjoy playing. lol :D

    I never found it difficult to ignore immature people in MMORPGs. If anything, like a previous poster said, it can be slightly humorous at times. People need to lighten up, IMO.
