polygon count

 i heard recently that they are going to drop the polygon count per character from 3000 to 700......does it matter to all of you? they said that they wasn't going to expect a dramatic drop in details...but still, dropping from 3000 to 700 is a bit much....don't you think?

    i fallow this game VERY closely and i have absolutely no idea what your talking about... can you post a link to the official news or something?

    maybe u miss-read because theres an option in game for you to turn down poly count to about 700 per if you really have a crap computer (works well in sieges and stuff)...

       i don't really recall where i read it but....i know it was an interview with raoul kim or something....and i specifically read one sentence that it said the plygon count will be drop from 3000 to 700 to support (forgot the number) people in castle sieges....

    ya okay i kno what ur talking about now...

    ya its just an option u can set that when multiple players are on screen will greatly decrease the ammount of polygons per char...

    aside from that poly count is always the same... no decrease ^^

    Phew, polycount for characters is very important. Just look at Horizons, theyre polycount for the player characters is fairly low and the characters look AWFUL.
