I'm a Sandbox junky and not a fan of Eastern MMO's (all the same to me).
I never got into RO. I played on an emulator once and didn't like it (because it was an unbalanced emulator, but I didn't like it enough to try out the official servers). And of course, I am not a big fan games produced outside the US (poor translations).
ROSE Online is the same as most every other Korean MMO I have played. It just has 'kiddier' graphics. I did play it longer than usual, but hacks a plenty (last time I checked) and once again poorly translated.
EVE Online is a very in depth game and I appreciate that. It has beautiful visuals and a nice soundtrack. I don't play this game because it is real-time skill gain. You log in and tell your character what to train, and wait for X hours to finish training it. It isn't based on use and I feel that I am buying my character by paying their monthly fees while my character develops on its own. I do, however, appreciate the community and role-play value. If you like in-depth games and can get around the skill-gain system, I would recommend this one. You can probably get a lot of support on EVE-hungry MMORPG.com.
I've never played Flyff. I'll admit I judge korean MMO's negatively before I even play them.
Same with RYL2.
I've played Rakion and found it interesting, but I don't consider it an MMORPG. There is no persistant world and barely any PvE. I had a lot of fun playing this game, but I only lasted a couple of weeks before I got bored of the same old thing. Good game, but not a traditional MMORPG.
WoW is an odd one for me. I am currently subscribed to it, but formatted my computer Tuesday and have yet to reinstall it. I get bored very fast with this game. If you are a visual-junky, I'm not a fan of WoW in this respect. A bit too cartoony for me, but I'm a UO player -- I can't really judge WoW lowly on visuals. It's a huge community, but that is actually a downside too me. It isn't personal enough an experience for me. I hate grinding and WoW is a grind. So many people complain that there is poor endgame content (I wouldn't know), but that means I am not interested. I keep coming back because friends play it. I hate leveling and that's all it seems WoW is.
Ultima Online (yeah I threw it in anyways) is ancient. Nine years and it is using the same graphics engine. They are releasing a new expansion soon (I don't believe MMORPG.com has even reported on this, but I haven't been watching closely recently), which will give a major upgrade to the graphics on UO. However, it is still a 3D isometric system (top down view). You are limited by your ability to see 20 tiles/squares (or so) ahead of you and that is a major drawback for some. However, Ultima Online has a unique skill system. It is a community based game. Quests were only recently added and they are few and far between. I don't play on EA's servers because I feel they ruined the game. There are private servers (hundreds, though only a couple dozen with a noteable player base), which range from 'old school' play to highly customized systems. UO is a very item-based game, but 'uber leet gear' will not make or break you. You still have to know how to play and build your character properly. It's a completely different playstyle than the other games you've listed (people say EVE is closest, though they are worlds apart in many respects). You can download the newest client for free and do a trial with EA. Or you can seek out alternative playgrounds.
There's my longwinded reply. Hope it was helpful and made some sense.
The modern MMORPG is simply not worthy, of the acronym RPG. The straight grind and lack of atmosphere leave me with no choice. From this day forth, World of Warcraft, Everquest 2, and all the games like them shall be referred to as PIGCRAP. People In Guilds Constantly Raiding And Power-leveling
If you want some depth and crap loads of quest lines, crafting, wtc. give EQ2 trial a go.

Do I ever sleep?
Try Pirate King, its kinda like Rose or Ragnarock, just more stuff to do as you progress. Just wait for open beta in a few days as the servers will be wiped for the last time then.
Archlord is ..... not so bad I guess. Been playing it for the past 2 days. It's buggy atm, some folks crashing often, some skills broken. You could try it , it's also open pvp and GvG.
City of Heroes/Villains I could recommend if you want to p2p.
Knight Online is free, so you could try it. Kind of a generic mmorpg but it ain't so bad/ Biggest drawback is that there is a TON of turkish players . It's hard to find anyone who speaks english.
It's better be hated for who you are, than loved for who you aren't.
