Well said, and to top it off I doubt if it were a SW MMO LA would finalize the deal without seeing a working staged Demo of game play & systems this time. They still feel burned by SOE's Development of SWG, so I doubt they would allow an offical announcement will come until they felt it was heading in the right direction.

They just got a new engine for there mmo. I doubt there is much to report. I imagine they learned from the first mistake made with swg having announced it early. They have a lot of flushing out to do and if my previous post about it being a star wars next gen mmo is correct they are still integrating technologies into the graphics engine.
BioWare recently only acquired the Hero Engine in June. It's now middle of September. 3.5 months to learn the software and create an MMO?
Not hardly.
The intial team was formed 6 months ago. This same team has also only had their hands on the Hero Engine for 3.5 months.
Anything they had/have is on storyboard (i.e. hand drawings, sketches, drink napkins) format only. Sure they might have preliminary animations, maybe even rough world designs, but nothing more than that.
Let's speculate WILDLY and say they ARE doing an MMO with Lucas Arts. Have you forgotten already how hamstrung, hogtied, and gagged SOE was/is with SW:G? SOE couldn't fart new information without it being cleared by LA. What makes you think it would be any different with BioWare. It's NOT. Lucas Arts is STILL going to call the shots and STILL going to filter what goes out of the BioWare press room.
They aren't going to release any information until they have some nice screenshots or movies to go along with it. They aren't going to show their hand to NCSoft/Tabula Rasa. They aren't going to show their hand to Blizzard/World of Starcraft.
Whatever BioWare is cooking up is just now in the baby stages. 6 months time does not an MMO make. You are looking at 3.5 years from NOW until the game is released. You're looking at 1 year from NOW until a theme or working title is announced, then another two years after that until it hits public release.
Do yourself a favor before working yourself up into a frenzy about MMOs: Get educated about them. Get educated about the development processes. Get educated about the red tape that goes along with ANY media environment. Get educated, period, before going off on wild tangents about something you obviously know NOTHING about.

To the OP: You would do well to shut up over at the BioWare forums and stop making yourself look more ignorant than you already have. Sometimes it truly is better to be thought of as a fool, rather than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.
Yet they want you to be excited about and hyped for there products....
Cannot have it both ways.
