    Yep, he's right. There is no general "best" class combo in this game. If you want to know what's "best", then we're gonna need to know what you wanna do. And I'm talking specifics.

    It's all about what you like to do,every class combo can be very powerful but against some other it can be disaster

    I personaly prefer a warrior/elementalist/ranger/assassian/ritualist/mesmer/monk/necromancer combo. IDK what you guys are thinking using only 2 classes.

    ps: there are no "best" combos, and yes, it makes me cringe when I hear someone asking that.

    I think the question would be better, what Class Combo do u like most or something. Because GW doesn't have a best class combo. Even though some builds, like starbursters and many others can overpower most builds. But saying its the best? Nope. A simple mesmer can slow down or completely make this build useless.

    But personaly I like to play a mesmer :) or a prot monk.

    What could be a good second class for a ranger? Got some preferance in archer classes but any ideas about something that works well with it? Was thinking of mesmer but I am open to suggestions :)

    I enjoyed my Ranger/Monk very much but haven't had much experinece with other combo's. This is all from a pve perspective I'm talking about,I've had very little time on the pvp side of the game.

    Waiting on Guild Wars 2
