in Final Fantasy XI

Hey all, I am thinking of buying FFXI as my next MMORPG but want to try it before I buy it. I was wondering if there is ever going to be a trial?

    since its still fairly new in America and very successful, a trial isnt likely to occur soon

    Maybe this June or near their one year anniversary marking?

    YA i think i agree because i don't wana pay then hate the game but what have i saw this game looks really good

    i'm thingking of buying too but i need to know if its a p2p(pay to play) game. .  anyone there who could answer??
