not really the same kind of grind, from 1-20 in GW, is training, on lvl 20 the game seriously starts. in WoW from 1-60, it is mostly doing the samekind of quests again and again, when you hit lvl 60. it's mostly just exploring and raiding, or make a new character. WoW gets very boring, after a while with the level grind ( lvl 25 atm) and GW also gets boring after a while(Only playing Wow, until GW:NF and DoW: DA is out).
WoW can be fun, from time to time. you meet also some quiet nice people on the RPG/PVP server. while GW is Skills > Time/Lvl and gear WoW is skill<Time/ level and gear
get your friend to send you a 10 day free trial andtry it people have many diff views on WoW some like others hate but try it your self cause if you listen to someones else's view then you really wont know will ya.
WoW is fun. GW is fun. I got bored with GW and started WOW now as I get closer to 60 Im bored. Mainly because I like solo play and its now to the point that I either learn to co operate with loud mouth sarcastic techno weinies or find another game. At 60(my son has some 60s) I watch him play and think why in Gods name would someone go through that much BS ( 40 man raids, screen covered with macro, which he tells me is absolutly nessecary and un supported by WoW). Christ thats not fun , thats a freakin second job.
