Not really sure if this has been posted but, theres a nice bit if info on WoW in the Articles from a visit early Jan about the state of Alpha and a glimse of what the game will (hopefully) be all about. Check it out at:

    Well if it has info on beta don't listen what top left corner says about beta release on Feburary 2004.

    This info is purely based on the state of Alpha the time of there visit. It answers a large amount of questions that blizzard hasn't posted yet. They only commented that a few more races/classes needed to be finished in testing then they would release it for beta testing. Its been a little over a month but the game should be out in beta this month (hopefully).

    Like Subleak said. The articles were let out close to a month ago. On top of that it was still in the Orc/Troll part of the Alpha test. As long as they are still on track, they should be now working on the Night Elve testing.
