- Will we all die because we're acting like a virus atm and destroying our planet or will we change our ways?
- Will we move off this Planet in time or will we be left here to die out?
- Is there a universe? How big is it? Is the Universe the Universe or is there something beyond it?
- How much is fact and how much is Guess work?
- What created our Universe?
- What was here before it?
I don't believe in God but..
- What created God? Surely if something must have created the Universe (which is like a athiests god) then what created God?
- Why do people believe in a god they never seen?
- Was the bible just a fictional story
- Why do we believe in the Universe if we havn't really seen it, just go off what other people say?
See i see Science and Religion to be more or less the same thing, people believe in one or the other but havn't ever discovered the facts for themselves. It's just people telling us stories and none of it might not be true.
Most of what we do is based on Guess work.

Science and Religion are totally opposites.
Religion is based on faith
Science is based on facts.
I would believe in science way before religion.
too many questions. just live your life and at the end you will find out if theres a god, heaven or hell, one gigantic oblivion where we are all energy. or we just die either way having so many questions keeps people from living a life that is fun. and if you dont think life should be fun, skulk around or just lie down and dont move for a long time.
for the full way i feel read the mary post
- We and our children won't, but future generation will. I certainly hope so.
- yes there is a universe, we are all in it atm. Currently we see it as endless, expanding, and we haven't found a proper "end" of it yet. There is probably something beyond it, maybe it's just one of many universes. There is also talk about different dimensions.
- Most of what is around us, our enviroment, our planet, or close neighbours in our solar system, and the closer parts of this universe are all explained with facts. When we get further out, it kinda goes more towards "guesswork", but it's not total random quesswork. The scientist don't take all the ideas just out of the air.
- Does it have to be created? Can't it just have evolved? Or "emerged" in other ways?
- No idea
- I don't believe in a thing as God. Why does it have to be created?
- They need something to hold on, something to justifie their actions. It's from ancient times where people couldn't explain all the stuff around them.
- To many me many parts of the bible are finctional stories. Other parts are based on reality, but heavily twisted.
- We can see the universe. Just look up into the sky at a clear night. It's breathtaking.
- Science and religion aren't the same thing. Science asks questions and answers them with facts. Religon just tells you how it is without any room for doubt, or any means of critical thinking.
You have the answer there pretty much. Thats exactly what I was gonna say, but quoting is fin too.
Independant, Shinto, Lesbian, and Proud!
I belive if you think about all those questions too much you will have one hell of a headache.
Also simple answer to the "Why do people believe in a god they never seen?"

That may be so, but the main thing - that a 'God' exists - remains faith. Without that faith, the facts are pretty meaningless.

*Takes baseball bat and heads down the mall for some anger-management therapy* -_-
PLEASE grow up and STOP trying to spread your own agenda here. The RELIGION of Islam, by definition, is faith-based. To say 'God exists' is 100% faith. To say 'Mohammed was a prophet from God' is 100% faith. To say 'We know which people are prophets because God bestows miracles upon them' is 100% faith. To even believe in said miracles is 100% faith. Sure, there may be science in the Qu'ran - though a lot of it is subject to interpretation - that does not mean that your religion is anything but a faith-based BELIEF system.
