Need new mmo

I am trying to find a free mmo. im mostly looking for a good sci fi but a fantasy would be good to.  Shout out ideas.

    Among the free MMOs out there, Anarchy Online is pretty easily the best in my book, and it is a Science fiction setting like you asked for. The classic version of the game is free, and features enough content to keep you entertained for potentially years without upgrading. Its weak point is the graphics, while good, they are outdated.

    Guild Wars is too short, not nearly enough content. Shadowbane is chaotic, poorly maintained and full to the brim with a**holes. Pretty much all the others are not even worth mentioning, especially the Asian based ones.

    I recommend Guild Wars,it has no monthly fee you just pay a one time fee from store and I think the price dropped as well. Graphics are nice and I never had any lag . Although I don't play it anymore I might install it again when the next expansion is released

    Also I heard from some people that Silk Road Online is ok,Harsh grind and kinda of repetive but only going by from what I read. Anyways good luck in your search

    GW is way too short for me, I bought it last summer so I could play it whole summer but I got really bored in no time.
    If you are going to try GW you should be warned that it's not a real MMO, some take it as one but some don't. NCSoft said that it's not. If I'd take it as MMO I'd hate it but as normal online RPG it's great game.

    Anarchy Online is the best free game out.

    Hero Online is a nice game too... I think most of you agree, but after a while it bores some people, like me.

    9Dragons is going to be free at release, I'm waiting for that. Its in CB atm but it should be going into open beta next month.
