The Item mall

  OK the good news , is at current prices you can maintain the 20% / 20% (xp / gold) with no problem on the 9.99 account. If you play I m guessing roughly 15 hours in a week period , and stay below 20 you will have enough Lens (20% damage / 20% skill recharge time), and maybe 50 potions.

     The system in place rewards low lvls with the ability to advance quickly without having to grind... Now drops still need to be improve slightly but other than that , the Item Mall returns the game to pre-patch state. Lens apparently reduce timers by 1 second or so. Even works on pots.

     Now for the bad news , Lens increase usage with Level , around 30 you will need to be upgraded to 20.00 a month account , to have enough lens and a few pots. (No keys , no scrolls , no reserve orbs) Even at the 9.99 package you will be buffed 20/20 , and have enough lens for around 15 to 20 levels.

      At around 45 to 50 , you will have to upgrade to Lord , to have the Lens for most of the month. Again the 9.99 package gives you 20/20 , a few lens and a few pots.

      Lens arent end all be all , they are important , they average a +75 to spells and allow you to use buffs and pots much quicker. Lens user vs. non Lens user comes down to first strike , and skills. A moonelf elementist , which I m can hit with Ice Hazard , (55% stun) and kill a Lens user maybe 30% of the time. With Lens chances go up to 50%.

   Keys are a gamble , sometimes you get good items and some times you get junk. They arent critical to the game , PVP or anything else. Of Course a Lord package will have more keys and more reserve orbs .. but in the end reserve orbs only effect PVE.

     We cant test everything or compare usage or effects of the varies packages again a live , living community.. I dont think Codemasters is goig to allow it in Open Beta. The impact maybe small or it could be wide , we just dont know until we see how many 9.99 ers , 20.00 er and 40.00 ers are in the final release.

    My opinion on the subject if you are playing because you enjoy the game , the system is good. If you are expecting to be God and own everything on the 9.99 to lvl 100 .. I think you will find you will have to upgrade at some point.

     Again highest we can test is 42 , the other individuals ranged from baby 8 to 31 (me) to 35 , to 41.
