Yulgang: Balance of Power

Does anyone know when the Yulgang english open beta starts, apparently the game was big in Asia and is really fun to play. The creators describe it as the "crazy cartoony comic RPG" which I think suits it pretty well judging by the crazy and random video clips they put up for you to see. These are actually the type of things I love, random things! I'd really like to try this game, the website for the game is http://yulgang.netgame.com/ although there isn't much right now because it's in open teaser and you can find all the other games netgame have made here www.netgame.com which does say something about Yulgang because their netgame's 2 recent game launches hasn't exactly been successful.

    when they say that do they mean that there won't be any armour customization? Everyone's going to look the same? That would be horrible. Although it could mean your character changes like that and you would only look like that if you have no armour on.

    We could be proven wrong, but from the looks of that and the way it's worded it sounds like there's absolutely zilch appearance customization. Hopefully that isn't the case.

    It's a Korean MMO, of course everyone is going to look the same regardless.

    well i dont know when the english openbeta will start, but in thailand (where i live) it has been free for quite awhile.  i have to say that the game's graphics is pretty cartoony, but the overall game play is not that impressive.  There is only one spell caster job (you can choose to up support or damage spells), i played damage spells and the damage output is very low (sorry for all those damage oriented mages).  Solo play after level 20 in this game is nearly impossible because this game is focused on partying. (you can kill monsters 5-10 lvls above you if u have  2 warriors and 1 healer in ur party)  If u play spellcaster you are going to be extremely poor in the beginning of the game because SP pots is very expensive.  Refining items in this game is also RANDOM it doesnt have percentage of success!!! once i broke my armor while making it +2... oh and there is ALOT of bots in the thai server.

    so are there anything good about Yulgang then? So far you only have said bad points about Yulgang. Is the game going to start open beta first or closed beta?

    There's nothing good at all sadly. I would look for something else rather than play this game.

    If you wanna play Korean version Yulgan, just holla me I'll give you my account. I have a lvl 80 healer on Shinji server.

    So the supposed "good game" is just another boring Korean grinder where everyone looks the same where the game has no special features that makes it stand out from other games made? If so then the game does seem pretty dull, thanks for putting me off people!!

    Personally, I think this game will be a lot of fun. I've learned to take the reviews of MMORPG.commers with with a few metric tons of salt.

    Yulgang is Korean and I think it rocks, I've seen some screenies, and it looks cool. Graphics aren't very good, but I don't care. For more screenies search at Google lol.

    The graphics remind me of FlyFF alot, just hope that the game isn't as bad as Flyff! Although Flyff was good until the grind started which was pretty early in the game.

    Never played FlyFF, I have the setup, but can't install the game. Anyway, I think graphics aren't important, gameplay is the real sh*t.

    community wasn't too bad in Flyff, although community is what most games are missing which makes the game boring because it's supposed to be a MMORPG. What really gets to me in games is bad music that makes you want to puke because its so rubbish, Flyff was very kiddish and cartoony although it was a teeny bit fun. Yulgang looks cartoony but not in the same kiddish graphical way.

    oh it's a click to move? I hate click to move games they really get on my nerves because of all the clicking about making your fingers hurt and wearing down the mouse! All these things you lot are telling me are beginning to make me think Yulgang's going to be crap.

    After all the bad things people have being saying about how crap Yulgang is? Any reasons? Because I don't any reason to play the game anymore if everything posted here about the game is true. I don't think this game really excited me anymore although the website did make me laugh a bit because of the stupid videos they make. (100th Post by the way)
