I tried the beta, and I loved it, but I only played for 4 days. I didn't buy it cause I went on a vacation the day after the beta stopped, but when Icame back I noticed all the negative reviews by people on this site. My question is if I should buy it or not? Could someone give me their review of the game? And is there pvp in the game?
Comments
I bought it last week and am enjoying the hell out of it. I don't PVP so I am the wrong person to talk to about that. It seems to be a very solo friendly game.
Look in the dumpsters behind any store that carried the game. You'll find it for free!!
same goes for SWG;).
Btw, it is not their fault that NCSoft is doing a poor job on the marketing
More People need to play it. I paid 30 dollars for it and don't want it to get cancelled anytime soon. I am having a blast. I don't know what happened when it first came out but it is a lot better than some of the games with 100,000+ subscribers.
It has a lot of the things I personally want in a game. A lot of solo mishes is critital for me, as I cannot sit and play for a lot in one sitting. I put a lot of hours in, but not at one time. I also like to craft, which so far is a little complicated but I am learning. The community seems decent so far. So go play it.

Your kidding, right?
NC did nothing but push this game before it came out. I was sick of seeing it. Now admittedly, since the tumbleweed release, they have backed off...but you cant really blame them...what if you built a MMO and nobody came

What NCsoft may have to do is make a package like $oe did and offer CoH/CoV/AA for around 20.00. Maybe they could get some of the CoH crowd. Of course they would have to still improve the game with time.
No offense the game is a blast, but it at least to me it is one of those games should be something you pick up from time to time to play to let off steam like an FPS, not a MMO that you pay a fee for and feel that you have to play it a few times a week to justify the fee instead of paying for another game that has more filling to it.

I used to love AA but till when i want to try to form a group.. most ppl were seem to say the same sentence " oh no thnx d00d, ima solo " or " why group? it nerf ma loots and exp "
That was a month after the launch of AA.
NCSoft wont kill any MMO they publish that have good potential... unless its really a money sink hole then thats another story to tell.
All canceled. Waiting on Warhammer Online : Age of Reckoning.
I total agree with you. I tryed Auto asault I liked it, I had a good time in my trial of it liked the community in it. I did run into a good bit of other people in it. But I can't see paying a monthly fee for it, I also thought it should of went the way guild wars did. if it did I bet it would be slam jame packed full of people.
The game was fun to play for a little while, but didn't have enough to keep me hooked. To me it just never felt polished or finished. And teaming was very difficult and not well supported in-game. Most of the people I showed it to came out with a pretty low opinion of it. I don't think AA's failure was a matter of any lack of marketting, I think it a lot more to do with the end product itself. Many of us who had seen it/played it/heard of it didn't think it was worth both the Box price and a subscription rate. Even the folks behind the counter at the games store were cautioning people to stay away from the title, based on bad word-of-mouth.
They didn't go the way other MMO's went to 'make a killing'....
They have tried (and succeeded IMO) to make a different genre of MMO.
Every MMO has its learning curve. Auto Assault is growing rapidly.
Call me fanboy or whatever, fact is for me popularity doesn't make a game 'good'.
Try the 14 day Trial..you won't have access to the level 80 PVP area, but you'll get the idea of the PVE
part of the game.
Just remember tho that the game is geared towards PVP at the end so don't judge the game by what you see at the start. Ask some level 80's in faction stuff.. We are generally quite helpful (again depends on which faction).
If you decide to play...don't go for HUman (easy mode) as they are the most populated (again popularity not meaning good here).
Try it and see for yourself.
