My only concern about this game

I'm a bit concerned that there will be blood squirting EVERYWHERE. Don't get me wrong, I'm not overly squeamish. But someone said something about "demon familiars ripping out enemy's still-beating heart and eating it". Excuse me, but, YUCK! I don't want to have to close my eyes every time I kill an enemy. This game looks fantastic, but I hope they don't make it TOO disgusting, and if they do I'd like an option to turn off the gore (or at least the truly horrifying parts).
Is this too much to ask for?

What a thoughtless response. Let me put it this way: This looks like an incredible game, better than any game I've seen, released or in development. This truly seems to be the ultimate mmorpg to date, based in a riveting, brutal world with outstanding graphics and music and an amazing, revolutionary combat system and PVP potentially better than Daoc. All I ask is that I don't have to see somebody's heart get eaten out, and you tell me not to buy M Rated games and suggest another EQ/WoW clone.

Buy the German version, they have strict rules to blood in games and I am sure they will color it green like most blood games they get over there.
Also I am pretty sure they will have an option in the game to turn off the blood effect.

I agree with the OP, i am all for blood, but way to much can make the game corney. Thats why i couldnt stnad mortal combat, every hit made blood fly every where and it jsut got cheesy after a while.
I wanna see the enemy, even your character bleed, but not turn into the walking bloodwork water fall.

Look at the movie "Kill Bill", people loved it for being over the top. I personally couldn't stand the movie, but it still is a good movie nonetheless.
I just wish they would release some new information, movies or something!!! Warhammer is coming out with tons of new information all the time, while AoC is the same ol same.

In any case, Dameonk is right, while much of the gaming industry is indeed going in that direction, MMORPGs have not until now with only a few exceptions, none of which are ever mentioned here.
