Greetings to all. This is my first post here, but I am not expecting to be coddled. I am no stranger to serious-minded and unforgiving descussion forrums. I am also not a newcomer to MMOs, as I have played all the ones that really matter in terms of commercial releases. I am a very opinionated individual and I am not afraid to voice my opinion or respond to the opinions of others. I am also a Christian, not that that particularly matters in terms of MMO discussion, but my faith is very much a part of who I am as an individual. I am not going to use these forums to preach, but I do (and always have) signed most of my forum posts with the phrase, "In Christ". People have flamed me for this in the past, but I will not be drawn into a flame war by them, so don't waste your time, because I surely will not waste mine. This paragraph is here simply to introduce my status as an MMO community participant and what can generally be expected from me. Whatever effect this knowledge has on your opinion of me, I ask that you consider the content of my posts from a non-biased standpoint.
Now that I have introduced myself, I would like to point you to my first Opinionated Post, entitled "A Case for a non-advancement MMO"
That was followed by my concept of "Comparative Indirect Competition", which acts as an alternative to PvP as a means of competing with other players.

Over-opinionated people are not very nice. We don't need your input about everything, kay? Whether or not you are a strong christian isn't the point. I don't mean to sound anal about things, but you shouldn't be signing your posts like this.
Why, I wouldn't be surprised if one the first 5 of your next posts have some reference to your religion (excluding signature AND this one which already does.)

I'll say, if christ showed up here, half of the posters would probably shoot him dead on sight, and they would all then argue about whether or not that disproved his divinity.
To OP, its good that you dont expect to be coddled, you hit the ground running hard on these forums, especcially in the off topic section

Welcome to MMORPG.com. I am a Christian myself and am glad to see that other Christians play and follow the development of MMOs as well. Just one thing, if you plan to preach to others on this forum, please limit it to the "off-topic" section. This section is strictly for game topic discussion. As a Christian, we need to be respectful of the rules of the site. Besides, you will only make enemies by posting your opinions here. Since you are a Christian, you'll probably end up making enemies anyway, but there's nothing wrong with that if you do it on the "off-topic" section. Christ said, "others will hate you because of me". Anyway, do your thing.

Oh, I wasn't off-topic, I just have had to deal with enough flack in other forums about my signature so I figured I'd head it off at the pass by being up-front from the start.

Thank you... As promised, I will not preach here. I'm here to offer my opinions on different MMO possibilities and to get this community's opinion of my opinions. I'll save religios discussion for the private messenging
