Dude, can you let me vent a bit. jeeeessss.
I don't want to, and i wasn't saying that I was leaving. Mmorpg has been good to the vets, in articles and in providing this board. My point was that MMORPG has to think about the people who frequent the board as well as the advertisers that pay them.
The point is moot anyway. I don't even know the last time that I've seen an SOE ad on this site.
In addition to that, I've had this explained to me. It changed my perspective a bit.
Originally posted by Admin So, if this were the case - then why would we have this forum? This is a forum for people to discuss their dissatisfaction with the game. You may not want to acknowlege it, but there are still people playing SWG that have a need and right to discuss the game without being harassed by people who don't like the game...which is why they have a place to do this now. We NEVER cave into what game companies may or may not want us to do (and for the record SOE has never contacted us about our SWG forums). Have you not noticed the virtual currency ads on this site? Trust me when I tell you SOE, Mythic, NCSoft, Sigil and more have asked us to take them down and we don't - we make our decisions based on our own views and those of our members.
This was posted after I made my initial post. So now I give MMORPG nothing but props. Communication goes a long way.

Yeah, I was about to say that anyone that didn't know about badass CDEFs must not have played the game much before the CU. There were a lot of those on Bria with some wicked mind ticks on them.
I think that Obraik is just enjoying the painfully obvious double standard of these New Forum Enhancements.
I was always under the impression that CDEF = noob weapon so I guess it never occured to me to look at the stats of them after I progressed up my professions and onto what seemed like bigger and better weapons...

It was very possable to make a decent CDEF gun... Uber no, Decent...sure. But CDEFS were caped to a certain effectiveness.
But, with good materials, good skills, extra exparamataion, and some slicing...not bad.
This was the flexability of the old system, of course if you got scaned with that sliced CDEF....

I had a Vibro Axe that was a guildys that did like 550 damage... (It was a first tier novice box) Brawler weapon.
Crap, also there was some Tusken exp weapons that had some NASTY punch, see they mixed that in with some basic skills then the rest in a nasty one and you had some ugly skills out there.
Also the cool thing was, if you were seen carrying a CDEF people thought you had no punch...lol

That is soooo sweet. Like 0 skill points required Master Combat Medic. 1.2 spd * 128 made it somewhat effective. Too bad it did not have armor piercing.

Y'know what? It happened. We can still go rail against the current game in that forum, and the NGE fanbois can still tell us how poor the pre-NGE game was in this forum. The dead horse is beaten into goo, it's probably not recognizable as organic matter anymore. Let it go. Move along.

Unless SOE has introduced the New Taffy Experience. Sounds like there might be some Pop Rocks in there too.
I don't recall that happening. I remember a lot of, "Sorry Col Ani, please forgive me for interupting you."
