If you didn't like the first 2 hours, chances are your not going to like it at all. the game doesn't change much, what your doing at lvl 1 is what your doing at level 59, except you will use some more skills and all.

Start on a brand new server, or one that has been only open for 3 weeks or less.

You see, every mammal on this planet instinctively develops a natural equilibrium with their surrounding environment, but you humans do not. You spread to an area, and you multiply, and you multiply, until every natural resource is consumed. The only way you can survive is to spread to another area. There is another organism on this planet that follows the same pattern. Do you know what it is? A virus. Human beings are a disease, a cancer of this planet.-Mr.Smith

Well you need to ask yourself this question. What do you want to do in the end PvP, Raid, or Both? If you are a pvper you can actually get your gear through the battlegrounds/pvp ranks (not sure how this is going to work in burning crusade exactly). You may enjoy yourself once you get into the game but yeah there are tons of quests/mobs to grind. In the end wow turned into a grind for me and I hated it but Iliked the pvp. Eventually I quit because I was tired of the fact to be superb in pvp I would have to farm some gold to get an epic mount and to buy the battleground gear. If you haven't played it for awhile it can be fun at first. I suggest you play a warlock, priest, or warrior if you want to be pretty good in pvp. If you have no clue on how to build your talent trees post on the class forums on www.worldofwarcraft.com they can help you with various builds to fit your playstyle. Honestly if your going to pay for a game WoW is the one I would recommend I would say its better then just about any mmorpg out there.... thats not saying its an amazing game. If you like mmorpg's though stick with WoW, thats just my opinion >_<.

To sum it up WoW is a grind like pretty much all mmorpgs out there. They disguise their grind in quests/instances and this game can be a big time sucker. If you have time to waste you can go into the raids and get the best equipment etc.... WoW is pretty casual as far as mmorpgs go if you choose not to raid though so don't feel obligated to join the mass raids. If I HAD to play an mmorpg and I could pick any out there it would be WoW or DAoC so your not going to find much better at this time... again my opinion. I sugguest you level more in WoW I doubt your past 10 so you don't have a lot of your classes skills. If you playing a paladin I can see why you might hate the game as well:P The high damage classes can be anything but a paladin.. he does the least damage of any class. If you decide to continue to play the game you might want to post on a forum and ask what class people suggest for you after posting what you want to do. Aka do you want a lot of versatility or a focus on a certain area? Aka healing, dps, tanking, AoE, and stuff like that.

What would be the point of that? There is absolutely nothing valauble about the experience of starting on a new server except that a bunch of gold farmers are going to be in the majority of grind spots/instance groups.
