Which Console will Eidos-Funcom put Conan on?

Which console will Conan be on? I was reading a report from Eidos might make it for the Xbox 360... Will it have dumb-down controls like Final Fantasy XI did for the PC?

FFXI was the same game as the PC version.  I don't know, there hasn't been any information about this.

Before you get confused at all, Eidos has nothing to do with any decisions regarding the game itself. They are involved for the sake of advertisement, and nothing else. Funcom is in controll of every single other aspect, and will remain that way.

Vertex is right, nothing has been officially released on the subject, circumstancial evidence points to the 360 though. As to certain portions of the PC version being dumbed down, it is highly unlikely. The two versions are being released nearly a year apart from each other, that highly suggests that there are significant differences.

Warhammer Online was rumored to be released in the future on other platforms, but I read that if this happened, the game would liekly not be identical to the original PC version.

I wonder if this would also be true of Conan, or if it will be like FFXI . . . the same exact game on all systems.  I hope it is, I like a huge community.

I sure as hell hope not. The dumbing down of the game depth would be a huge turn off for me. Imagine the endless menu drilling down needed for a system with any complexity. And playing with console gamers. man... as if there isnt enough smacktard teens in PC games. Just my humble opinion.

They definately are im afraid, the devs specifically stated earlier on that a console version would be released in 07. However, the different release dates seem to indicate that there will be some major differences between it and the PC version, so dumbing down on the interface is unlikely
