Amazing to how low SWG has sunk when they now have a forum strictly for "Disgruntled Former Players."
This is the only game I know of with such a forum, tells you a whole lot of what this game has become.

I am not sure how well represented we are on this board, but most of us still at least take a look there. After ten loooong months of mourning, however, there just is not much left to say. I think most vets that quit have found other things to do.
I still play SWG when they push a patch, but only for that amount of time. They pushed the Restuss thing and patch two in less than a month, so they kept me for a susbscriber for two months in that timeframe. It is the only period I have played more than a month at a time since NGE.
I cannot stand the game that they have put in place of what I once had. I think that Helios and anyone who listens to him need to go. He has to be one of the worst developers and least compassionate person on the dev team, yet he has a position of authority. He should be terminated not only for the damage he does, but the heartless comments he makes on the forums.
The latest "take everything away and make them start from scratch" is the redo of the faction rank system. They are going to wipe all progress made to date, give away rank 3 (why not just make THAT rank zero if everyone gets it), and wipe faction points. They are on the forums saying the old system was broke, we aren't taking anything away, all of the excuses we heard as the NGE destroyed our communities. With Helios in charge, they haven't learned a thing.
These guys have had nearly a year to turn it around. Any business would have rolled heads after four months and the brutalizing the subscribers have given them in public. There HAS to have been a time limit for NGE to "turn around" the game set originally. Perhaps it was even contractualized? One year sounds like a reasonable amount of time, does it not? I see change coming, rapidly, after Nov. 15. There is NO WAY this current dev team will survive. They have failed to deliver the new subscribers and halved what they used to bring in. This situation WILL NOT LAST.

I must agree with pirrg here, he's far too busy playing EVE Online to post anything about the NGE!

Yes...That is something that people don't understand.
For almost every one of us that comes here and complains/debates about SWG, there is an entire guild that feels the same way.
Many from my SWG guild still stays in contact, and hopes for pre-nge SWG in some form. I am the only one that bothers posting about it here though.
