I think Ive experienced Freeport, should I reroll in Qeynos?

I got to lvl 20 Berserker on Freeport, so I pretty much experienced all of The city of freeport and the Commonlands. I'm not sure If I reroll that I could stand repeating all those quests, and I dont want to use my berserker again because it seemed worthless to me in pvp and just boring(though if you have experienced otherwise at higher levels tell me so because I'd love to stick with it.)

The problem with qeynos is that it is really effeminate looking(looks like a bland dutch town) and none of the good races go to it, plus it has more ppl which normally I like but i generally go for the underdog. I would like to experience Antonica and the new content though, although I may not be able to stomach it.

So is the content different and new enough to make it worth me rerolling there? If I do, Ill probaby switch back to freeport at 20 to do all the stuff there, but then ill be a lame race and not a pvp-dominating ratonga:(.

Your thoughts. Should I stick with the berserker(what pro's are there at higher levels?) Also, how are wizards in general? I like being able to do all that damage while fearing for your life.

If I were you, I'd wait for a newer MMORPG to come out. The upcoming Chinese MMORPG "IMAST TEKECHIT" comes to mind, if you can wait until mid-2007.

Thanks for the reply. Havent you noticed though, and im not sure how much this would change at high levels, that its very difficult to get close enough to those dang midget scouts to do damage, while they eat you alive with poisons and ranged weapons? I gotta admit though, even though I usually die it is SWEET to finally catch up to those little buggers and take down like half their health in about 2 hits.

Man it never ends. EQ2 has the most pompous ppl around. OBVIOUSLY it is based on my opinion and my reasoning for picking a certain side so stfu and piss off. I dont expect you to agree with me, im just asking for some help making a decision WITHIN my own tastes and boundaries.

This isnt exactly the pinnacle of manhood imo, especially compared to freeport.

MMORPDEATH, if you wait around long enough, you'll find anything. It's NOT dead in Qeynos. Basing it off one picture is moronic. Why don't you come play and actually find out the truth instead of relying on a picture?

playing as a Berzerker on a PVP server is what caused me to quit. NO class, lemme repeat..NO CLASS should simply be the bastard step child "until so and so level" like the Zerker is. They get owned pathetically unless you clock the time to grind to 50 and get fabled gear. Maybe I would've had a better time on a PVE server as an easy-mode class (any scout), but my first impression of that class sucked.

Thanks for the helpful tips. I certainly wont reroll a berserker; probably go with a Wizard, monk, or shadowknight(should I roll freeport).

But what do you guys think about what I said earlier-that I would like to try rolling qeynos for the sake of some new quests and to see antonica, but I still would like to know if its different enough to be worth it as I like Freeport more and would just eventually do the betrayal quest.

I did this same thing when I got tired of my Warden and needed a little break. This was on a RP server mind you but anyways, I rolled a little Qeynosian to see what was what and to be honest, I actually had a fairly decent time doing so.

With the new starting quests there's a fair amount of difference in how everything starts up and the quests within the city are pretty decent. My experience was that there was less people but that's so subject to each server it probably doesn't make sense you even taking that into account. After while the "happy, happy, joy, joy" environment kinda got to me though but that's really part of it's charm and why I love how big a different there is between freeport and qeynos.

I say go for it and enjoy, Monk's are silly amounts of fun to play if that's the way you decide to go, pretty good in PVP from what I hear too.

I was wondering that myself. I love the houses in Qeynos. It reminds me of that beautiful European housing. I hope to own a house like that one day.

You dont need to reroll just to see Antonica, you can go there anyway as a Freeportian.

Interesting, can you do quests in antonica as well? Also, its not just wanting to SEE it, but mainly wanting to experience the quests there, most of which i assume come from inside queynos, and id probably have to be a stealth class(shudder) to survive there.

Welll anyway to the OP i just rerolled a toon into qeynos and i hate it after comming form the dark side i feel qeynos the town is just bright and nice looking not run down along with that the people seem less helpful for some weird reason cant figure that one out Goodside=mean Evil=nice go figure.... But the town to me is just wierd like everything seems to be hidden took me forever to find a bank for god sake but hey just my opinion hope this helps.. cant help you with the zerker part as i play a Warlock
