Well guys ive been swappings from mmo to mmo for most of this year ever since SWG got screwed i cant find anything to fill the void but anyway i was pondering weather i shud give DAOC free trial a go i thought well wat can it hurt so to start with im totaly confused with DAOC's classes and races can any 1 enlighten me or suggest a good class to go i usualy play a warrior as i like cool heavy armour and swords if any one can help id apreciate it

In Hibernia I would suggest a Hero Champ, Blademaster or possibly the hybrid Warden.
Midgard the Berserker, Savage or Thane.. the hybrid Valkyrie has been updated and is real popular.
In Albion maybe a Mercenary or Armsman and I think Paladin is the hybrid for Albs.
I've grouped with all but the Mercs so far - and I have a 50 Warden that I like a lot. My Pally is around42 or so. Does well, but I usually play a Cleric or a Fire Wiz in Albion.
In game you can do a /who Savage/Thane/Hero...(whatever class) and get advice in game from someone who plays whichever you want to ask about.
I play a Hib Blademaster, it's a lot of fun, but you don't get plate. You do however, get to dual wield.
I have an aldion Armsman, you get plate but no magic at all.
I have a midguard savage and they cant use plate either, but I don't really like that class at all.
Not a well organized post, but you get the idea.
