The trial is not available

It says it is on the front page but the links to DL it are dead and you can't make a trial account thru the Launch pad.

    Don't ya remember the big rumor that there's gonna be a new game because the trial is gone? We chewed on that for a day or so.

    Then some idiot dev said it was offline for retooling or something.

    Yeah I remember it said the trial was not available, but then someone came in and said it was back up. Looks like just the page is.

    Hell, at least you can log into the site. It took me 3 days to cancel my WoW account because I couldnt get the dumbass account page to load on that crap-ass website they have.

    Never attribute to a secret plan that you can attribute to incompetence (especially when it's SOE we are talking about).

    Their finite crew of monkeys (known as the Devs) broke it and they can't fix it.

    Well, even monkeys cost money, and with <100K left of what was once an industry contending 300K player base, you can only afford Helios, Rogue5 and other semi evolved simians.

    Well you know the old saying, " A thousand monkeys typing randomnly on a keyboard will eventually develop a game better than any SOE dev"  or something to that effect.

    Right now I am playing EQ2 on a pvp server...  I face insta deaths by evil faction players when I am grinding.

    I like this, getting from 16-19 has been fun for that.

    I am an old school Bloodfin player.

    Don't know if you remember Diggidydank(RL friend of mine)  or not he was in Foad for a while , But he bought that game for me long ago . Sadly it was before they made it into a good game . Didn't even have pvp when I tried it .
