Looking For a New Online Game - Any Suggestions

I have played EQ2 since the start but its become boring with lack of endgame stuff and raiding the same zones has become a chore so I quit. I have been playing WoW but it just cant get under my skin like EQ did.
Any suggestions on a good substitute, I have been playing Archlord in beta and was underwhelmed and the payment system looks pretty crap.
I was hoping to see Vanguard in November or Gods and Heroes but it looks like both of those games are months away certainly 2007.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
