...that there is alot more topics and posts on the SWG refuge forum than on the SWG current forum. The relationship is (SWG current:SWG refuge)1:3.9 regarding topics, and 1:4.8 regarding posts.

b) People who like the game are playing and not trolling the forums

If people aren't allowed to counter argue NGE on the NGE forum, then the reverse is true, you guys aren't allowed to come here and counter argue that NGE is better than Pre-CU or CU.

Yes and thank goodness nobody STILL does not post there asking for the old game back and not the NGE.
*COUGH* -- See thats the difference... You don't have a bunch of people saying I WANT the NGE and like it so much that I want to marry it etc...
It still makes me smile to see thread after thread of people disliking the NGE and wanting the old game back STILL... If you think about it, all that it proves and shows is that if given the choice the game would be in a different state right now if it could.
No free Jedi, More professions, more people and a better outlook without all the Bad press and statements like "Do not make our mistakes" ---- would not be here.

NGE current: 100K or less
That makes for at least a 3:1 ratio. And that doesn't count "churn", ie, players who quit pre-CU or CU who were actually replaced by new players who then later quit. The actual former to NGE player ratio could be much higher, as high as 5:1.

Um I'm sure someone replied to this but I wanted to reply before I read the rest of the thread.
That is only true if:
1) They don't post at all
2) They actually enjoy the game and post as such.
Anyone who post much in the way of complaint or negative at all even if constructive...
Will eventually have post locked, deleted or be banned from those forums.
Unless like me they only rant about once a month (hmm doesn't sound right).
Anyway.. that could be why posts here increase over time as more people get banned from the "official" forums... just a thought.

Well if your numbers are correct... then the entire 300k would have had to quit and been replaced by the 100k.
3:1... 300,000 - 100,000 = 200,000
So that would be 2:1
I thought however, that the number quoted someone long ago was a peak of around 450,000... but I really don't remember. I think there was a release by SOE at one point... because at that time it was still a big number.. you know before WoW.
