Gameplay Video

I just watched a gameplay video of like 6 guys killing Cerberus.  First thing, Cerberus is invincible.  Second thing, Hades is omnipotent in the underworld.  He would be PWNing those newbie Romans in a second.  Also, will Medusa turn people to stone, and will the Pegasus pop out everytime you cut off her head?  Even though the combat is SOOO obviously turn-based, it looks pretty radical.  Wrestling moves like choke holds, and arm-barres.  Awesome.

    1.  All of the player characters are scions of the Gods and have their blood flowing through them, so, if you are fighting Cerebus, while the fight could still be extremely difficult, you could defeat him (though perhaps not kill him).

    2.  You wouldn't fight Hades.  You're right, Hades is a god and would pwn everyone in the Netherworld where he reigns supreme.

    3.  Medusa will almost definitely have the ability to turn people to stone (at least for a while).

    4.  THE COMBAT IS NOT TURN-BASED.  It works much like WoW with timed attacks and special attacks.  I know because I've seen videos of the game from E3 where the devs are giving a demonstration.

No, it really isn't.  I've seen it in action at E3 and it doesn't feel like MxO's turns.  You're right that the animations play out in "turns", but they are fast enough that it just feels like the attacks you see in WoW.  Both the monster and the player do attacks there but they don't react to getting hit.
