Whats the best game , for players who dont care for uber graphics?

I currently play UO , thinking about moving on to something new or something coming out in the future , this is what I look for in a game.

1. Friendly community

2. Content driven

3. Don't care so much for super graphics

4. PVP , that is balanced.

5. A game that is very supported by Developers.

6. Must be fun  for more than 8 months

7. More on the fantasy side ( UO , D&D , Everquest)

My poll has some I have been looking at , WOW is my least favorite ( something just doesnt seem right about it)

I really like DAoC. It is an older generation game so the graphics/animations are a little lacking, but the community is great and it's one of the top-rated PvP games out there.

If you came from UO and you want freedom like in UO. Darkfall is your game and dont say "but thats coming in 2020". There have been alot of quotes "Darkfall might come later this year". So wait for darkfall.

Darkfall the only real game (if it comes out)

Like the post above me said, Darkfall will be the closest if it will ever be released and if you are heavily into pvp, Otherwise, stick with UO for the moment. I have tried most of the other mmorpg's out there and have yet to find a nicer game.

I dont know but I quit UO cuase its not the same UO as it used to be... I was a beta tester and player for almost 9 years... Its sad to see what happen to UO, basicly going the same direction of every other Fantasy type game... I just got completely bored with the crap, and the fact that PVP is not even player skilled anymore...

Anyway, Im playing Roma-victor now, and besides all the problems and flames that people are saying about it, I like the freedom it has, and the sence of Roleplay the community gives out... As far as playing MMO's that require a monthly payment, Ill never play one of those again... Just my opionion on things....

Please do not Flame my Reply, I dont want to hear how bad RV is from some of you guys.... Im not telling this guy to buy it or play it, Im jsut stateing that I came from UO and i liked how free UO used to be and i Feel the same way playing RV...

Aww, Continuum/Subspace (www.trenchwars.org and click on download) isn't on there.  As far as actual skill goes I'd rank it as one of the highest also, no click on the monster and click attack type of game, this game actually requires good reaction and timing.

Edit: I also wanted to add that this game is not an MMORPG but rather an MMO

Anarchy Online is Sci-fi, not fantasy, but easily fills all other requirements.

Pretty much the only significant problem is the 5 year old graphics

No man is an island, entire of itself; every man is a piece of the continent, a part of the main. any man's death diminishes me, because I am involved in mankind, and therefore never send to know for whom the bell tolls; it tolls for thee.
