I currently play UO , thinking about moving on to something new or something coming out in the future , this is what I look for in a game.
1. Friendly community
2. Content driven
3. Don't care so much for super graphics
4. PVP , that is balanced.
5. A game that is very supported by Developers.
6. Must be fun for more than 8 months
7. More on the fantasy side ( UO , D&D , Everquest)
My poll has some I have been looking at , WOW is my least favorite ( something just doesnt seem right about it)

Darkfall the only real game (if it comes out)

Do I ever sleep?
Anyway, Im playing Roma-victor now, and besides all the problems and flames that people are saying about it, I like the freedom it has, and the sence of Roleplay the community gives out... As far as playing MMO's that require a monthly payment, Ill never play one of those again... Just my opionion on things....
Please do not Flame my Reply, I dont want to hear how bad RV is from some of you guys.... Im not telling this guy to buy it or play it, Im jsut stateing that I came from UO and i liked how free UO used to be and i Feel the same way playing RV...

Thank you for help so far..I was reading another site that posted about UO's future and saw they were hiring for this this job( see below) , kinda wish I had the experience , also make me wonder what there really up to , seems more than a graphics upgrade , anyways back on topic , how are some of the above games as related to using on a lower end comp ?
Found this on jobs.ea.com (go into United States, then search for "Ultima").
Stick with UO.
A Work in Progress.

Aww, Continuum/Subspace (www.trenchwars.org and click on download) isn't on there. As far as actual skill goes I'd rank it as one of the highest also, no click on the monster and click attack type of game, this game actually requires good reaction and timing.
Edit: I also wanted to add that this game is not an MMORPG but rather an MMO
Anarchy Online is Sci-fi, not fantasy, but easily fills all other requirements.
Pretty much the only significant problem is the 5 year old graphics
No man is an island, entire of itself; every man is a piece of the continent, a part of the main. any man's death diminishes me, because I am involved in mankind, and therefore never send to know for whom the bell tolls; it tolls for thee.

After reading and seeing some of the goodies planned for us , I just may stay for a little longer , still would like to try something out before they do there graphics update.
" To celebrate our 9th year of adventure and fantasy in the longest continuously running MMORPG in history, we’ve put together a special edition boxed collection that will mark our anniversary in style. It ships October 31st and will be available at a software retailer near you on November 2nd for $19.99. We’ve crafted exotic new housing sets, have a quartet of personal attendants awaiting your command and are making available more than 50 items marking the different ages of Ultima Online."
